Felix almost looks pleased at the sight of a particular familiar face. While there were people from Fódlan he had never wanted to see again (and a few he had already seen despite not wanting to), Ashe was someone whose company he actually (albeit often begrudgingly) enjoyed. He looked the other man over curiously before offering a gesture similar to a friendly wave, though it came with a little of his normal scowl.

“... Ashe.” Though his lips don’t quite make it into a smile, a practiced gaze can catch the shimmer of contentment in those doll eyes. He draws close, gloved hands clasped at the fingertips. Lips part once more, as if to utter an “it’s good to see you,” but Byleth seems to think better of it, simply holding out his hand instead.
