So the setting kind of takes place in a universe where everyone has some sort of super power, mostly a hold over from an earlier version but honestly its so ingrained into how some characters like jasper an aj work that I dont wanna get rid of it even if its just kind of There. which is fine actually i like it. This is a somewhat recent development having happened around the late 80s / early 90s
The OCverse is kind of split into 3 friendgroups so to speak?
The youngest include Jayden, Lily, Sam, Anthony, and Rick, being elementry aged, around 8-10. Their stories are usually kind of adventure of the day sort of deals, I had a comic i was working on that i didnt end up finishing which was basically them playing in the snow before anthony tries to save someone who got caught out on the icy lake when the ice started breaking melting.
to explain all their personalities really quickly jayden is like the ideas guy shes very creative and good with coming up with like. games to play. or plans when they get into shenanigans and has a budding interest in fashion
Anthony is very. sports oriented for a lack of a better word? Like he does karate and soccer after school he tends to run into things head first which doesnt always work out he gets excited easily and big style
Rick thinks hes hot shit he talks a big game but he is in fact. like 9. BIG interest in music and like later on when their older convinces everyone to like. form a band for a school event. Hes the guy who knows a guy who said its true the 2nd floor bathroom is haunted and the kid whos haunting it died from bullies giving 'em a swirlie and now roams the halls revenge style
Sam is. ok well faksyan thank u for getting me into the life series shes like scar to meeeeee. silly but when she locks in she locks in. Moved in last year so shes the newest to the friend group and getting shown around stuff still
Lily is a sweet heart whos got a real interest in photography and local flora and fauna after a recent camping trip
uhh dynamics wise i always like to think of it as like. Sam lily and anthony are never afraid to get dirty where as Jayden and Rick will usually hestiate and go :[ :[. Jayden and Lily are the types to dress up as like disney princesses for halloween and Sam and Anthony will be in those inflatable dinosuars. theyre like a tight knit group and they look out for eachother :3

Then theres the oldest group whos storys revolve generally around like. uncovering conspiracies is the best way to describe it like ah we stumbled upon someone whos planning to fuck shit up we need to stop them. This group includes the core trio Rosin, AJ, and Jasper, and then a further supporting cast which is a bittt harder to describe bc like unlike the youngest friend grip and the middle friendgroup that ill get to next, the older ones arent all one friend group but uhh. I think generally theyre all around 17-23 the problem is when I made Rosin and Jasper who are my oldest OCs they were my age so they USE to be 13 n its like. bwa what the hell,,. Anyways
Core trio who gets focused - Rosin, Jasper, AJ
Rosin - he's like. a hot mess in recovery. umm part of this is because he has origins in a game i liked when i was younger and when he took the jump to full OC his story got less brutual just by the nature of. not being dead anymore. He's Lily's older brother and kind of taken over the role of being her guardian bc their parents divorce got messy tm. whereas AJ and Jasper have a good amount of friends outside the trio rosin,, doesnt really. he likes all of jasper and aj's other friends fine hes just bad at socializing and kind of just stands there awkwardly if one of them arent there to carry the convo.
Jasper - The opposite of Rosin they have been eachothers ying and yang forever. Jasper is About to become a hot mess lol. He's very likable gets along with everyone! everyone likes him, right? some people pleaser tendacies uhh the powers havent been too relevant yet but jaspers is Light Manipulation that i take to be like oh he can create illusions and he gets very showboaty with it but also uses it for minor shit, like correcting his vision without having to use his glasses! he has made him power like an important part of himself it would be a real shame if something bad happened to it ^_^
AJ - i should be better at explaining aj. favorite child rights. He is the middle ground to jasper and rosins intensity hes a bit of bastard hes a lot more snarky then the either too hes chronically fatigued cause hes constantly using his powers to do like, both minor shit like charge his phone and more involved stuff like his crutches he can use his power to retract them for the sake of convenience if he needs to grab something or like pick 'em up from the ground if they fall somehow even though normal forearm crutches would def be fine. he choses the path of lease convenience always and forever until forced otherwise
Further Supporting cast here includes Mike, Rose, Artemis, Grace, Meg and Bea and to like. Map out those relations would require me to draw something out which i DONNT wanna do right now if you have further questions on THEMMM send another ask.

MIDDLE FRIENDGROUPPP their stories are towards the end story goal of achieving godhood 👍‼ This mainly consists of Dee, Charlie, April, Austin, and Robin
Dee is the younger sister of AJ! she shares a lot of her brothers tendacies aside from the fact that shes a go getter. unofficial leader of her friend group when things go to shit its usually dee leading the effort to fix it n is probably the glue of the friend group
charlie is alot i love herrrr i need to make more, oc art in general but specifically of herrrrr!!!! she came to me while listening to stupendiums ad infinitum song and i was like oh i would love to have a character that is that intense. i think i told u this in dms its like my main way of getting her personality across but its like a cross between spamtom deltarune and sholmes dgs she is cartoonishly smart held back by the fact that she is moving at a million miles per hour she can making you a working ray gun shes got a conspiracy board in the back about some long running show shes watching she's probably gonna make a frankenstien spoof next week
April and Austin are twins, the younger siblings of Mike. if Rosin and Jasper are Ying and Yang i would say these two are Sun and Moon. April doesnt really have a filter shes gonna tell you exactly what she thinks of you and she wears her heart on her sleeve so you also know exactly how she's feeling. Youre not gonna treat her or her friends as shit unless your gonna put your money where your mouth is and she does roller derby ^_^ Austin is a bit more of a wall flower hes just happy to be included, gets scared easier and picks his battles more. Their powers are also like. inverses isnt the quite the right word but it gets the idea across. April can do transmutation fma style so if the materials are there she can make it and she can like shape it as is, and austin is that he can make anything that he can imagine! as long as he is asleep and it will go away when he wakes up and unfortunately for him he has 1 william sleeping disorders so he doesnt get to choose when that happens.
Robin, oh robin,, She is an anxious mess she is eternally grateful that she has a friend group that can put up with her and her tendencies to work her self up and psyche herself out (as she would describe it, her friends do not see it as "dealing with her" they like her thats why theyre friends) though it doesnt help that near the beginning of when the story starts her powers got fucked up and 'glitch out' now. she's got a interest in like 80s culture and retro stuff she likes older arcades and likes to collect older technology. shes also transgenda 👍happens halfway through the story (or it would if i had. enough story beats to justify calling this a story)
