Asher has lived a life of privilege, growing up as the first grandchild in an old money family. He lived an idyllic childhood - wanting for nothing and encouraged by his supportive parents to pursue anything he found interesting. Time spent fishing with his father at the private family lake led to a life-long affection for nature. He joined Scouts as soon as he was able, even leading a unit for a while in high school. Once Asher's unruly younger brother was old enough to attend high school with him, his focus shifted. Weekends once spent camping in the woods turned into "chaperoning" at parties and keeping his brother out of trouble. Not that Asher minded too much, he learned to appreciate a keg stand or two, and it led to hosting some killer parties his senior year. Right out of high school, he used part of his trust fund to purchase a small farm outside of Henford-on-Bagley to take up homesteading. He planned to enjoy some peace after his streak of partying, but after only a few months he felt unsettled. It felt like something was missing in his life even with the periodic trips home to visit his family. His father suggested they go camping together in a spot that he used to love as a child, but Asher found an even better option: a backpacking trip. What better way to figure out who he was than to get away from everything he knows?
Asher is a spare in the 6th generation of my legacy save. He was the first infant I played after the update 😄
