"It's just me!" { let's start the thread??? Heehee }
My muse is hallucinating and thinks yours is someone who hurt them in the past. Send me “It’s just me!” for my muse’s reaction.
Taking in a few deep breathes, Asher looks around, everything was just, not right. His head was light, his heart racing, slamming in his chest. What was that sound? Turning to look he winces, his hands moving up to his neck, rubbing into the skin “ Go away… ” Closing his eyes, the creeping sound of metal clanks of armor approaching, hissing of a cat, the wind through the branches of dead trees “ It’s not real.” Shaking his head, he sucks in a deep breath. Then turns suddenly as he hears a voice, his eyes searching for the source, only to land suddenly on her, but what he’d seen besides the sprite, was the knight that had helped tie him and hang upside down in the Tulgey.
“ Just leave me alone!” He shouts, suddenly shoving Ginevra away from him then, wanting to run away, but stops himself as he looks down at her, everything tilting, his vision doubling. Turning his head to one side as he stares down at her “ They should of killed you….” With a sneer he drops down over her, his pupils shrunk into the small little pins.
Reaching his left hand out then, grabbing Ginevra by her shirt he yanks her up, his right hand lifting up, forming into a fist, ready to strike her across the face.
But just in that moment, he hears more noises that weren’t there. His eyes shifting quickly as he looks around, dropping onto one need and then falling to the side from her he turns and crawls off before standing and starts to run away from the girl he’d mistaken for the man who had helped Abra try and kill him. Darting through the woods he slides to a stop as he reaches the edge of a cliff, sending several rocks rolling off the edge. Looking down he takes a deep breath, a eerie silence falling over his ears.
He turns suddenly, thinking about jumping into the waters below. The sound of growling again cutting it’s way into his ears. Lifting his hands up he grabs onto his ears “ S-stop! ” They were coming for him, to finish what they started, the creatures and his would be murderers alike. Or maybe even to hang him again from the tree. He couldn’t go back to that. Dropping down onto the ground, his knee’s in his chest, his hands over his ears as he whispers into his knee’s, pleading to just be left alone.
Rocking lightly back and forth, gasping for breath as if the rope had once more wrapped itself around his neck again, tightening as it once had, killing him slowly as it once had tried before.
“ Please.-Please.-Please.- Stop! Stop it!“ Closing his eyes, his body shaking so violently from the sounds that had haunted him for this last year. Not again, he could not go back to being a victim, he had to be stronger then this. But he wasn’t, he couldn’t be.
