I friggin' love robots, so I had to go for that, but which bots? There are so many great robots! I finally went with everyone's favorite musicbots, Daft Punk! Each nail is inspired by a different helmet or outfit. Mostly based on this picture:
Base color of all nails is Sinful Colors Black on Black over Revlon Gel Smooth basecoat. All nails except pinkies have Revlon Quick Dry top coat.
Thumbnails are the Random Access Memories helmets. Left is Maybelline Color Show Pedal to the Metal, right is Covergirl Outlast Glosstinis Seared Bronze. Index fingers are the Tron Legacy helmets. Both nails have Sally Hansen Triple Shine Sparks Fly (which I promise is blue and silver in the right light). Middle fingers are the Alive 2007 helmets. Both nails have a stripe of Maybelline Color Show Crushed Clementine done with a small paintbrush. Ring fingers are the rainbow/Daft Punk helmets. Both nails have Nicole by OPI Be Awesome.
Pinkies represent their suits and leather coats, and just have NYC Matte me Crazy top coat.

My current OTP obsession is Newton Geiszler/Hermann Gottlieb from Pacific Rim.
My left ring finger (get it, left brain) has Hermann's chalkboard, done using NYC Black Lace Creme and NYC French White Tip with plate BM-408. I used NYC Matte me Crazy topcoat to make it matte.
My right ring finger (right brain) has a DNA strand over the black of Newton's jacket and tie, with appropriately-rockstar multicolor glitter for his tattoos, done using NYC Black Lace Creme, NYC French White Tip, Nicole by OPI Be Awesome, and plate BM-409.
The steel-grey Jaeger nails are Maybelline Color Show in Home Sweet Chrome.
The thumbnails represent Newt and Hermann's drift with the kaiju, with simplified Pons headsets over a kaiju blue background. The blue is Sinful Colors Midnight Blue, the grey is Maybelline Color Show Home Sweet Chrome, and the red is Sinful Colors Ruby Ruby.
Base coat is Revlon Gel Smooth, top coat on all nails except the chalkboard is Revlon Quick Dry.

1) I have 7 piercings- nose, navel, both lobes, 2 more in my left lobe, and 1 more on my left upper ear.
2) My hair and nails grow at a freaky speed. If I bite off all the white theres a new white crecsent in about 12 hours. My hair grows about 1.25 inches a month, but used to grow at about 2 inches a month.
3) I bruise very very easily but major injuries heal very quickly. My fractured rib healed in about 1/3rd the time it was supposed to take. The bruises, for some reason, take forever to go away.
4) I’m 30 and I still have acne. Thankfully, my dad (who gave me that particular shitty gene) paid for me to see a dermatologist, which has pretty much taken care of it.
5) I have 3 grey hairs but no wrinkles.
6) I’m super gassy. Chronically.
7) I have hands the size of someone 7 inches taller than me, on average, but my ring size is smaller than most American jewelers carry. So, basically I have yaoi hands in real life.
8) My uterus tried to destroy me once (9 WEEK heavy period MORE THAN ONCE A YEAR WTF so anemic, all the fainting), so I had it professionally electrocuted. That mostly shut it up, but I guess my body considers this a “major injury” so it’s healing it way, way faster than it was supposed to and I may have to have a second procedure in a few years to re-do it. Which is kinda balls.
