Kwesi Yankah: The rocky road to Ashesi - Nsemkeka
Kwesi Yankah: The rocky road to Ashesi – Nsemkeka My arrival at Ashesi last Thursday couldn’t have been better timed. I parked close to a group of visitors just arrived on a formal visit. Americans, I guessed; you could tell from their biceps, wide-eyeballs, accent and all. A motor dispatch rider had escorted them from Accra, partly for safety, partly for comfort, but largely as protocol cover…
2021 Summer done and dusted. They came in their numbers, took lead of many activities to define the 2021 summer academy experience in Bamenda and Yaounde and to advance the goals of Open Dreams and to inspire the youth. They also carried out humanitarian activities in Douala and Buea and participated in conferences. They demonstrated commitment, resilience and determination and we felt their tremendous impact. As they hit the skies back to their institutions, we are so thankful. Made this for our class party. It was the week my yeargroup was supposed to be hosting a class party. #Ashesi. We agreed on a theme and I got to working on graphics. Obviously very quickly thrown together. Had very limited around then. Unfortunately, we the Computer Science students had a massive assignment the night of the party. About halfway through the night we said “fuck it”, and went to party.

E D U C A T I O N It would be an absolute honour and pleasure to lecture at this university @ashesi in the future. Imagine in an amphitheatre styled classroom. That is magical and where learning comes alive. Looks better than some uni's in this country. Don't be fooled, Africa has some of the most beautiful and innovate campuses, way better than some in the Western world. Open your eyes, mind and ears. #investinafrica #ghana #education #university #motherland #wearegreat #liberalarts #creativearts #business #entrepreneur #djari3s #useyourbrain #ashesi #inspired #learning #engagingstudents #lecturelife #amphitheatre
