Word Prompt Wednesday: "Wanting"
She walked through the stalls, the smells of the market taking her through her memories of years past. Ashiki saw the candied sweets and dango enticing young children and children at heart, and smiled sadly. Her upbringing sad, painful, and she wanted to make up for what she had lost, the happiness in the small things she had missed out on. Between the "family" she was thrust upon, and the "family" she was forced to be with, not a lot of happy memories came out of her childhood and had left her feeling forlorn for the young girl she once was. It was the family that found her and the family she had found that had not left her wanting, and as such, reaching over and placing a few gil in the merchants hand, she purchases some sweets for the childhood Ashiki never had.
