== Little Forest Girl ==
If they had a kid: for Lance and Ash
A forest dweller comes across a knight –
Name: Arthurioux de Marcellus ( translation: Arthur, noble/courageous )
Gender: Male
General Appearance: Arthur was born with the tanned shade of his mother, which was complementary to his golden, unruly mane, the same gold shared by both his parents. He takes the smoldering golden eyes of his father full of warmth yet fierce, yet it melts away upon reaching his lips. That smile of his belongs to his mother - charming and innocent. As a child, he looked like a mop with ears, his hair was kept long that at times one would mistake the babe for a girl if they saw just his back. He, like his father, he developed a strong jaw; and discovered later that he had dimples.
Personality: Growing up, he was full of energy and excitable about travel and the unknown. He had a rebellious streak, often escaping from his studies to run off into the forest, seeking adventure. As a child, he was excessively curious and at times, got him into a bit of trouble - but usually with a passing Woodwailer. He is able to talk himself out of trouble, something his mother coached him on after giving up in trying to control his antics. She knew what she was dealing with at the very start.
Very much the thrill-seeker in his early stages of adulthood, his excitement for adventure was sewn into him by his father. Ash admits that he certainly has his father’s charms, and has seen much of Lanceloux in her son when he speaks to his friends, especially those of the opposite sex. He is a problem-solver, often finding solutions to hypothetical situations he may encounter, he was what his friends called the “man with the plan” in his older years.
Special Talents: Arthur had no intention of becoming a knight himself, but his leadership skills are extraordinary and he motivating others comes naturally to him as breathing air. Though his wish is not to wear his father’s armaments, he is skilled at swordplay and has a terrifyingly good aim. Arthur is quick on his feet and excels at making decisive decisions.
His survival skills come from his mother and father, who thought it was best to prepare him for a world without them. Hunting was not his favorite thing to do, but he knew well how it benefited him in the end if things went awry. Lanceloux made sure to teach him self-preservation. He learned to grow his own meals from seedlings thanks to his mother, who showed him the value of gardening ( he is a vegetarian, this is a blessing).
Who they like better: He likes his mother, mostly because he is a mama's’ boy at heart, even into adulthood. She gave him extra desserts, brushed his hair, taught him to dance. His parents showed him the value of respect and the power of love. What really won him over though.. Was that his mother always indulged him in embarrassing stories of his father, a little secret shared just between them.
Who they take after more: In the end, he takes up Lanceloux more, adventurous to a fault and filled with determination. Physically, there is no doubt that he Lance is his sire, and in his early adult life, he begins to grow out in size, becoming broader and thicker, a build similar to his father. His mannerisms were later influenced by his mother, who made sure to remind her wild-child to keep his hot temper under control - for he carried a flame just as hot as Lanceloux’s.
Personal Headcanon: Arthur does well in keeping Ashilanna on her toes when he was a young boy, always the sort to run far from her reach, forcing her to give chase. But he was ever so happy, even if he was at times near bursting from energy, his laughter is what kept her from scolding him too badly, and he always made sure to try and get on her good side with presents and surprises, no doubt mimicking his father.
The household never had a dull moment and was rich with life and excitement. In life he did grow into an explorer, documenting his adventures and releasing volumes of the marvelous things he encountered in his travels. But, he not once forgot his roots, and humble beginnings nestled away in the forest.
