Sometimes people are like, “Ugh cheerleaders are so obsessed with appearances.” Ummmmm yes?

People must be forgetting, cheerleaders aren’t just athletes. We’re also performers. We have our costumes and makeup just like actors and dancers. They get a pass? We don’t? Why? Is it because we perform on a court or field instead of a stage, or is it because you’re just fishing for any excuse to hate someone for a single hobby of theirs?
