Congrats to Ashley Holt for winning the Next Great Baker

Just wanted to give a shout out to Louisville native Ashley Holt for persevering through all of the challenges in The Next Great Baker an winning the title. Check out her website at Sugar Monster Sweets

We are planning on shooting an updated portrait, but we have both been extremely busy, so I thought I would revisit a few old images I shot of Ashley back in 2008/9 for my readers and explain the light setup and give a diagram or two. 

I picked her up and we drove up US 42 looking for the perfect location. We would pass a farm and say nope or maybe and keep on driving. We reached Skylight, KY and saw the shed that is featured in the images below and knew this was the perfect location.
