so I'm like four seasons late to the party but I just started all american I've always wanted to but had too many shows but I literally just started the first episode!! over the years I've seen so many things about spencer/olivia and asher/olivia I didn't know about jordan/layla at all lmao but I love the fact there's two slowburns on this show I love slowburns so much!!!

if you actually prefer Olivia and Asher together, I’m convinced that you hate Olivia as a whole cause how do you prefer a relationship that she wasn’t happy in and wasn’t being treated right in compared to a relationship where the guy (Spencer) literally worships the ground that she walks on and she’s the happiest that she has ever been with him ?

With Asher, she was being treated like complete garbage. While she was putting the effort in, helping him at every turn, all she got in return was nothing. All Asher talked about was him, football and him comparing himself to Spencer; he never even asked about her or what was going on with her and in fact, didn’t even care about what was important to her or have that as a priority. Then, did steroids, not even thinking about or caring about how that could affect her and her recovery and that it triggered her into her own relapse and got mad at her for doing the right thing and helping him to the point where she felt like she was wrong when she wasn’t and always yelled at her and belittled her and she couldn’t even shine on her own without him feeling insecure. Let’s not forget he also humiliated her and slut-shamed her in front of everyone just because he felt humiliated and let her take all the blame for that mess even though he literally took advantage of her that night that she overdosed (literally the number one reason why I don’t and will never ship them and why I don’t understand how people could ship them or prefer them) and him and his family using her as their therapist (like at least pay her while you’re at it 💀). Her presence was simply not being respected or acknowledged and he literally used her as a crutch but y’all prefer her with him other than Spencer who literally does the opposite of all of this and makes her feel happy and acknowledged and loved the way that she deserves to be and wants to be and is a number one priority to him and lifts her up and treats her like a literal queen and is treated with the upmost importance ??? Y’all are weird and if you’re white, I have to assume that you’re racist too 🤷🏾‍♀️
