I find it interesting that going down the ‘evil’ path, Astarion indirectly quotes Jareth from Labyrinth, at least twice.
“How can you be so cruel?” and “Until the world falls down.”
Both of them are from the songs in the movie as well. I’m not sure if Astarion ever quotes actual dialogue from the movie, though. If I thought about it more, I could probably come up with why Larian chose those specifically for when he’s still ‘performing’, but I thought it was interesting nonetheless!
Also, sort of funny Easter egg-ness, but the “cruel” line occurs only during the Goblin party, and Jareth is called the ‘Goblin King’ in Labyrinth.
