Bluey is animated in a program called CelAction2D, unless something has changed. But I’m pretty sure that clip uses it. I have no experience with it so I have no idea how it handles but most studios are using either Harmony, Flash, or paper (and then comping in CSP which…… drives us insane lol).

Is Kass still alive in your game? Last time I saw anything of her she had DIED so I'm very curious!

She is! It was a rough couple sessions but her party collected as much gold as they could and begged the church to cut them some slack to resurrect her. I cried like a big baby.

Currently our party is dealing with some cataclysmic things being unearthed, eldritch deities, devils, -- lots of things. But Kass is still going strong and making frenemies left and right.

I was told once that at least in one instance the cost of hiring an OS studio to do animation was about equal to one TAG animator’s annual salary…. For the whole show. For the whole crew. It was rough to hear. Not sure how accurate that number ACTUALLY is but in countries where the dollar goes farther and labor laws are almost nonexistent I can see it being something like that.

What’re you using to take campaign notes? I’m also the obsessive note taker/lore keeper for our campaign lol. I’m using Obsidian.md currently but I’m always curious about what other folks use. (I also love reading about other peoples campaigns it’s like little mini stories)

Oh!! I've heard of Obsidian, both of my partners use it constantly for their writing. I've been meaning to try it out but for some reason it hasn't appealed to me yet.

I like staying in my browser, so I've been using Notion. It works really well with the way I take my notes! I can easily look stuff up and link different pages together. And I like having funky little emojis for each of my pages to find them easily! Plus I can just grab lines of text, pictures etc. and move them around like building blocks, it's nice for quick editing. Here's what it looks like:
