ASH METEORS - FRAGMENT I
\\\ I'm very excited to announce the upcoming release of my debut mixtape, 'FRAGMENT I' - available on 15 April on all major digital music platforms, including iTunes, Google Play and Spotify. \\\ It's essentially an album, but I'm being pedantic and calling it a mixtape. Across the eight tracks are songs I've written and recorded in the past year, along with samples of my student radio station Livewire1350 and field recordings. Some of the songs have previously been heard in demo form but most have not been publicly aired before - and all have had a lick of production polish applied to them. Musically the mixtape draws influences from everything from indie to electropop and post-rock to neoclassical - hence the fragmenting of the title. \\\ I'm going on BBC Introducing in Norfolk this coming Saturday (27 February) from 8pm to talk about the mixtape and debut the single 'Stories To A Stranger'.
