Portal Knight

I wanted the lines to be cleaner, but the pen I was using ran out of ink partway through and the replacement one I grabbed was crap. Oh well
Fun fact about me that I don’t think I’ve shared— I’ve been working on a homemade Chell cosplay for which I’m making my own ASHPD!

(Making these cutouts was the most stressful x-acto knifing experience of my life. If any of those little connectors broke I would have gone and killed a man. Men should be glad I’m good at cutting cardboard.)
(Placement mockup using everything I could possibly use to hold everything in place. It’s all hidden though save for that tape dispenser, cue devious laughter)
She’s almost entirely cardboard (one packing tube, a repurposed box, and a couple toilet paper tubes) with a tiny bit of sticky foam around the front rings to smooth em out. Even the white rounded parts are cardboard and I am heckin proud of them. I stole an EVA template from some yt video and tweaked it a bit to suit my material better. Other than that it was hot glue, duct tape and determination. :)

Portal Drawtober 2023: Day 4
Portal Gun Reimagined
Decided to try and replicate the Aperture blueprints with this one, taking the preexisting portal gun and giving it a slightly more sleek vibe without a many offshooting pieces like the prongs or wires. R&D would say that it'd make the gun "more aerodynamic" (it's 100% to cut costs)

Ever wonder why the Portal keyboard had specific letters highlighted? That's actually because it's a reference to the Half-Life: Opposing Force protagonist, Adrian Shephard.
(Letter Keys highlighted are "a", "s", "d", "e", "r", "i", "p", "h", and "n".)
This was done due to the fact that people connected that the Aperture Science Handheld Portal Device had starting letters from Adrian's name in order. (ASHPD making it Adrian SHePharD).
