Love to think about the fact that Adrian was meant to me the Hero but Gordon ended up taking his place. G-man has been keeping an eye on him since his training days, actively making sure he stays in Black Mesa and even lending a hand. Adrian was meant to be the Big Guy, but then Gordon was there too, a meaningless scientist to G-man at first who instead proved himself to be a top survivor and one man army, he managed to completely catch G-man attention and make him lose his initial interest in Adrian. And now the Hero is stuck in an endless limbo somewhere in the void, congrats
