Today will be the last day of our first event, the 100th Year Mark! Members may now write threads after June 7th and outside of the event parameters! You are more than welcome to continue your threads from the event should you choose. Please keep an eye out as we will be sending a survey shortly!

And we’re officially live!

We are so excited to have the Kingdom of Ashbourne come to life. As promised, we begin with our first event - The 100th Year Mark. 

A couple of notes as we get starter: 

If you have not yet, please ensure you have read through our checklist and completed all of the steps

Please make sure you are following all members, including our musings blog 

With our launch, we ask that all members make one in-character post within forty-eight (48) hours from opening. If you feel you need more time, please send us a message and we’ll be happy to work with you

Moving forward, Ashbourne RP will be holding acceptances every Sunday and Thursday at 9PM (EST)

And most importantly, have fun! We can’t wait to see what you all come up with!

EVENT 01- The 100th Year Mark

History is written by the victors - and make no mistake, the Kingdom of Ashbourne has won time and time again. From the ashes of The Great War, rose a unified kingdom that stood for prosperity, innovation, and discovery. On this weekend, we commemorate a momentous milestone - the 100th anniversary of Ashbourne’s inception. Residents from all across the Kingdom of Ashbourne are invited to partake in the historical celebration hosted by Their Royal Highnesses in The Heartland. Notable occurrences will include; a one-of-a-kind festival, a not-so-secret party, and a lavish ball with an intriguing twist. 

We are very excited to announce that we are opening for gameplay on Thursday, June 10th. With the opening will be the start of our first official event- the 100th Year Mark- also referred to as the Anniversary of the Great War. So, make sure to keep an eye out for more information to come!

We are very excited to announce that we are opening for gameplay on Thursday, June 10th! We have been overwhelmed with beautifully fleshed out characters, diverse backgrounds, and enthusiastic writers so far - and we cannot wait to see more people join our lovely, little family. To that end, we will be accepting applications on Sunday’s, Monday’s, and Thursday’s until we open before setting our official acceptance day(s).

On the day of our opening, we will be releasing our very first event: The 100th Year! More details to follow, but it will be a detailed event spanning over a long weekend. We will be including all characters throughout the event, so make sure to have your app in by Thursday, June 10th at 9PM (EST) if you’d like to be specifically included in the event details!

As requested, we have decided to extend our acceptance tonight until 10p EST, so for anyone with a last minute app, you have an extra hour to send them in. Just in time for the opening of our discord chat! That being said, we don’t want our current members to have to wait too long, so we will begin sending out discord links starting at 9:30p until 10 as well. We can’t wait until we can begin plotting with everyone for our opening!

That concludes tonight’s round of acceptances. We are currently at five (5) muns and seven (7) characters. We could not be more excited to be closer to opening for game play! With that in mind, we are pleased to announce we will be opening our Discord server to all our current players once we reach eight (8) muns to begin plotting.

But wait, there’s more! Once we reach ten (10) muns, we will be setting an OPENING DATE and kicking it off with a juicy event to get the ball rolling. Our next acceptance will be this Sunday at 9PM (EST).
