The man wasn’t exactly sure where he stood with Ashton. Making his way further in, his eyes scanned the ice until he spotted Ashton. A grin immediately pulled across his face as he made his way over, giving the other man a wave. “Hey man, how's it going?” He greeted the other.
He glanced out at the rink before looking back at Ashton, his expression shifting into something a little more sincere. "I'm glad you agreed to meet up." Davin gave him a small nod. "Ruth talks about you, and I know you're important to her. Figured I should probably make an effort to actually know the people in her life instead of just being the guy who steals her away for dates." His grin returned as he gestured toward the ice. "So you might teach me this later? After lunch. Not sure I’ve ever been on ice before.”
