Hello everyone! Since Ellen has had to unfortunately step down from her roles in the group, Ashwood University is currently looking for a new co-admin to help Nick continue to run this incredible group! 

There’s no need to worry, Ellen will continue to help out here and there until a new co-admin joins the team, so everyone is encouraged to continue writing and keeping up with any and every current plot you have going on.

Hello out there, everyone! SECRET SANTA applications are no longer being accepted and everyone who requested to take part should have received a message with who they’ve been assigned to! If you did not receive the name of the person you’re meant to be a Secret Santa to, please let us know! We have used a randomized generator to pair everyone up, so everyone has someone!

Once you’ve decided on a gift, send it to the main by Monday, December 11th at 9:00 PM EST. We will then send your partner their gift from the main so that your identity remains anonymous. Once everyone has posted their gifts, we will post a list of who everyone’s Secret Santa was on the main page. We ask that you do not reveal who you’ve been partnered up with until after that list has been posted, to keep the mystery of this event going! In character or out of character. That’s all part of the fun! 

If everyone sends their gifts before Monday, we’ll send out gifts sooner, and everyone posts what gift they received right away, we’ll post the list sooner, so the wait won’t be as long to find out who gave you that present! This is an official event, so please make sure that when you post your Secret Santa gift, you use the tag #ashuevent.

Side Blogs

Friendly reminder that we do not allow characters to use side blogs for their character. It is mentioned on our checklist page that everyone needs to check out before submitting their page to the main once accepted. Please follow everything listed on there when creating your blog!

The Addams Family Musical

Hey guys! We’d like to announce our first big event here at Ashwood, the fall musical! Any and all information you’ll need to take part in this event can be found right here, and we encourage everyone to participate! If you have any questions, feel free to ask. We can’t wait to get started.

Hey everyone! Our current event is in full swing and we just wanted to post a reminder of the tasks that take place during it!

Post a journal entry at the end of every week about your experience.

Complete a para with your temporary roommates (either separate paras with each or one group para, whichever is easier for you).

You can also feel free to para, f2f, or have other conversations with your characters friends and family about their thoughts on the experiment as well. This experience will last until July 22nd. The list of who everyone is rooming with this summer can be found here. Hope you’re all having fun with your temporary roommates!
