Arranged marriage Ashvain:
Ashe asks Sylvain to marry him because he doesnt have a choice. He's taken Lord Lonato's place as Lord of Gaspard. He needs to lead like Lonato. But None of the nobles will talk to him. He doesn't have a crest, he doesn't have experience. Count Rowe in paticular finds it to be an easy way to expand his territory. He needs help. He needs an alliance not just on paper, not just declared. He needs a Margave to tie himself to Gaspard in a public way. Marriage is the only thing he can think of. He needs Sylvain to say yes so he can rise to the challenge.
