fell in love with the idea of being in love 

 Until my perception of what I want changed drastically • 

 I know god keeps his promise And what's ideal to me will be • 

 this time around I've grown proud With how quickly I was able to let my guard down 

 And how quickly I've grown to move on With no hard feelings attached • 

 truth is, life carries on And it only gets better and better 

 In each experience, I've come to learn.

 I've played for keeps Above all - 

I've kept myself Virtuous, Patient, Kind-hearted, Loving,  Supportive,  Compassionate,  Independent and Consciously aware 

That Self-love Sometimes is not as easy to mirror. 

but when it does, 

it will be the most 

 Loyal, loving, mutual, honest, 

respectful,blissful 

Feeling.

Queen, you are strong and beautiful. I pray this year we continue to uplift each other by Inspiring one another to truly be, all we can be. In the last few years the energy has shifted but I am so grateful to witness phenomenal women become my peers through creativity, through art, through entrepreneurship, through faith and love, through the ability to overcome so many setbacks and heartbreaks and still stand tall in purpose. If you’re reading this, you’re amazing luv continue to glow in your light.

good food.

I'm still writing out my new years resolutions, more so being intune with all that makes me feel good and asking god to allow me to continue to do  those things.  starting by eating healthy and being able to experiment more in the kitchen, being more aware what food makes me feel GOOD.   I can admit now but my palette was not always open to try new things...  I grew up being a very picky eater sometimes solely judging an item of dis taste by its appearance and  smell of fragrance... Thank God in that area I've found change because now i can admit I've missed out on some really good food. dammnnn.

Since I've moved to LA I've become such a reclusive hermit crab, i know! Another resolution for me this year will be to ‘Go Out on a Whim’ more often.  Im so proud of the discipline in my routines, I truly am but I miss the fun I had before becoming extremely focused within my crafts.  Although I find freedom and fun in creating and being creative theres a certain balance this year i would like to inherit where I'm able to find freedom AWAY from creating and being creative.  Im asking God to align my spirt in both extremes with every intent to find middle ground and balance. 

Another resolution which is to get back to the foundation...  Which is me being more expressive with YOU.  whether you’ve been following the journey or newly intune..  This is the muthaphuckn foundation!  This year will be the year I release so much of my words..  My heart’s been heavy, my minds been full but I'm determined to share my discoveries as i claim this year to be the year of travel through  Mind. Body and Soul.  As I mentioned in 2016′s wrap up,  one thing i learned last year is knowing how to better communicate...  Im looking forward to applying all I've grown to learn last year to 2017...

More Credit.

I should give myself more credit.. even on my lowest of days where i feel like giving up somehow some way I always find a source of hopefulness to pull me from helplessness.  I feel like my world is crashing yet I'm welcoming the outlook of the new look in change.  sometimes I get too comfortable until I'm reminded of how gracious God is, so gracious when I'm being too stagnant in my train of thought and actions here he comes to shake the ground beneath me.   I'm always attentive, always paying attention to details sometimes too deeply.   Im trusting now more than ever ‘the source, my light - will lead me.  I’ll stand tall, open minded, and aware that no matter what life is doing..  I will not allow myself to be defined by circumstance... Besides The aura of pitty never really seems to suit me.

I've been in my cancerian crabby shell,  on somewhat of a social media hiatus... just an occasional insta-story and a check in on twitter.  Figured its time i take it back to our most solid foundation...  honestly right now I'm so over the ploy of  being “liked”    at this point you’ll either love me to pieces or despise me with no filter.  either way, i welcome the curiosity.

to look up and see how many ppl came out in support of bringing this visual to life.  

i couldn't believe, 

how quickly dreams can come true.. 

from start to finish

i couldn't of asked 

for a better moment in time. 

i wore earrings with wings that day.. 

in my mind it was my  very own 

form of a mantra 

to let my creativity fly free...

I’m wondering when we grew apart.. when did we stop inspiring each other? was i too vain? was i too selfish? did i not show enough passion? sometimes, i see too much, sometimes i fall deep as sea… within a mere moment of a still image… sometimes, the contrast in black and white seems to be my favorite texture… theres no other way id rather add a “feeling” to the ‘chill in steal grey. sometimes, i think of all the places we’ve traveled hand in hand, oh how my soul it fought so hard to flee.. i ran away from myself, just to find me again.. and you were there every time. assisting me in telling a better story… . i know I owe a lot to you… you’re the only one who has seen it just as I do.. though sometimes, it breaks my heart to feel our progress be as still as this image.. knowing i put all my passion in it… just to feel the energy drift away.. maybe i was too vein.. but god told me, “be selfish.. god told me, “be your own muse… most importantly “love you like, I love you…” and “do all you sought out to do…” “get lost, til you find you..” oh how, my soul has fought to flee. no matter how many times i drift in the current of sea/ see. i pray it’ll always be • -A.

I like it heavenly sent wrapped in a bow with natural scent..reminisce of; delicate, intricate, sentiments, always present, rarely missing in attendance, attentive to every detail in which I’m made of..The type to Thank god that I’m created Just to be creative. The Type to thank god For every ‘curve’ which Defines how I made US. type to remember My poetic words verbatim…type to Pay attention every time I deliver lines When I say um’….
