Quick sketch studies from reference - a lot of these are working to capture the gesture and light/shadow patterns that make up the figure. You can see these most clearly in the figure work, since each of those were about 5 minutes each and didn’t afford time for tiny details.

Playing some Tumblr catch up! The mobile app can be buggy at times so I’ve been slacking lately posting here, so here’s a mix of Inktober stuff, pencil studies, and a color comp for an upcoming illustration!
Day 1 of Inktober! I have a stack of surplus 5x7 bristol that needs to be burned through, so all month my drawings are done at that size. First up, a rabbit Knight!

Day 5 of inktober - Long. Dunno why I thought of Dune, but a sandworm is pretty long.
