Noko, this may be weird for you to understand, but do you know what your name means? What is the meaning of your name?
Well, yeah I know ? I actually took time to figure out my name. See. Noko was an abbreviation for Nokomis which mean “girl from the moon” in Ojibwe and “grandmother” AKA “mother earth” in Algonquian culture, it is related to maple as well. Both description fitted me very well.
Funny fact, my mother and most of my highschool friend called me “Mémé” which is kind of an equivalent of “grandma”. And I’m always distracted and kind of an air head which in french we define as “dans la lune”(in the moon). Sooooo I removed the -mis of Nokomis and that’s pretty much how I chose my pseudo-name a long time ago.
Question about Spirit Totems, do they have powers? and can mine be able to shapeshift, I'm always indecisive so all my characters has the power to transform something as small as markings or as big as their whole appearance. but I wasn't sure if Spirit Totems could change back and forth on what they wanted to look like
They don’t, they’re a manifestation of your psyche, when they change apparent it’s because you’re changing as a person, It’s not about what they want to look like more like their shape is imposed through the person’s experience they’re attached to.
I'm sorry I know U have many things going around U at the moment and this might be a silly Q but, where is underdecay I searched for it so much but I can't find it isn't it a comic? Please send me the link. Thanx
Underdecay hasn’t started yet, I only have assets for now.
Hi, uhmm... There are a lot of missing links after page 50, could you fix that please? If it's not too much trouble. Thank you
There you go, all fixed, thanks~
so i got a question about the spirit totems, and i apologize if this has already been asked before, but spirit totems are affected by ones experiences and personality and the like, right? what would happen if the person experienced such trauma when they were little it caused DID (dissociative identity disorder)? sorry if this is an odd/insensitive? question abt such a heavy topic, i'm just super curious! also spirit totems are fucking adorable, have a good day
I would prefer avoid thinking about DID or other mental disorder as it can be a sensitive topic for others. But in term of trauma, yes they are a part of you but they’re not you, they don’t make who you are as a whole no matter how much it influence your life or not. Hell you didn’t see be put scars or cracks on Koh’s design even tho I went through a whole lot myself.I instead gave subtle elements through out my design to reflect on those parts of me but they’re not the main element that define the design, IDK if I’m being clear or not but I hope this answer satisfies you.
How'd ya come to make your avatar? i'd imagine you'd need some VERY clear ideas to come up with your bird/spider/thing? avatar.
Koh’s design is more symbolic then anything else. I had to reflect on myself to come up with elements that represented me as a person and it’s how they came to be.
I’m part native american so I was inspired of inuk titut design for their mask
Moth is often a symbol associated with creativity and raven are wise So I mashed those together until the amalgamation pleased me.There are key elements that I keep for myself as of why it’s there, but Koh as been the most satisfying mascot I ever had and I’m really happy that you guys like them!
I'm curious about a couple of things: 1. How long have been an artist? 2. How did you get into Undertale?
I’ve been drawing since the age of two, I never really stopped, I acquired my first drawing tablet back in high school so I’ve been doing digital since the past 12 years or so.
I got into undertale when the game first came out, I played it and simply fell in love with it.
