Only an hour after sending out the last puzzle to a few of his contacts, the actor left that area and took a plane to his final destination. The reason of his travels to the states had been completed for half a week, but there was one final personal meeting he had to attend to. The airport was bustling with activity, many flying home to see their loved ones.
A dingy little taxi dropped Umbral off at the right street, but he requested that he not be dropped off at the house he was looking for. The young man wanted to take in the scenery, take in the fact that it’s Valentine’s day, and he’s thousands of miles away from his lover and best friend in Winchester.
His suitcase rolled easily on the pavement, no rain or snow to worry the contents. In his other arm, he held a cutely decorated bag, completely full of goodies. Black sunglasses protected him from the brightly shining sun, something he wasn’t well adjusted to from the weary days in England.
Damien approached a mailbox- the house number matched what he was looking for. Not one to back down, he swallowed his nerves and walked up the driveway and to the front door. He took in the sight of the building, wondering how long it’s been standing, if there’s been other people living here, or just this one...
Umbral rang the doorbell and parked his suitcase right next to him on the front porch, the cute bag still in his hand. As he stood there waiting, the actor wondered if he should have brought sunscreen, though he supposed it was only spring. Perhaps LA wouldn’t be too bad for his pale, sunburn prone skin.
