“Erm... I never knew them too well.” She fidgets, picking at her sleeve. “I remember A being really serious.” Pause. “Always busy.” V looks down and shuffles to the side a bit. “B seemed kind of strange. Also really busy. More chatty.” Lets go of her sleeve. “He always had someone around him.”

Umbral spots Alternative from down the hall, and instinctively crouches down behind the corner. His eyes are locked on the target, and he pulls a lime green sharpie out of his pocket. Silently, the older boy uncaps it, and raises slightly. When he’s certain that it’s a good time to strike, he suddenly darts at the former successor, sharpie unsheathed and ready to go.

Swiftly, Umbral slides the sharpie over the side of Alternative’s neck, kneeling down afterwards- he’s imitating a sword fighter from some anime inspired video game.

“You would be dead if this was a knife.” He looks up at A and smiles sweetly.

Who is more likely to bring up past mistakes?Neither of them have any trouble painting the other as an abysmal failure, but A arguably has more ammunition. Who is more likely to give the silent treatment?B is never silent. A learned at an early age that this is one of the few ways to get under his skin. Getting under B's skin has a price. It rarely lasts long.
