Could you make a found family g/t prompt list? :]
Omg I've never made a prompt list but I'll do my best! Most of these are going to be giant parental figure and tiny child since that's the most comforting dynamic for me. But feel free to switch things around! Going to try and make this as general for age of the child as well, but some may lean either younger or older depending. Bear with me 😭 Also sorry if these are too detailed for prompts LOL
A human finds themselves abandoned by their family and their village, banished into the woods or to the sea where rumors of man-eating giant creatures reside. Only to be shocked and surprised that the creature they meet is kinder than anyone from their village. Classic, and for a reason. 🙂↕️
A tiny, new to the dynamic with their parental giant (could represent an older sibling as well), tries to stay out of the way as much as possible. Doing difficult homework on their own despite frustration tears, learning to play and entertain themselves when the giant is working at their desk, etc. making themselves even smaller to stay out of the way. The parental giant decides to encourage the tiny to take up space!
A human/tiny without any siblings or many friends finds a friend in a giant that's close to their age (give or take a couple years or so). The size difference doesn't stop the two from having fun, getting into trouble, and growing their friendship!
A human child that lives at home can't fall asleep very well. Ever. Recently, however, the low humming song of a giant in the mountains helps lull them into a peaceful sleep.
An artsy borrower had always been more interested in drawing than borrowing. Whenever they go on missions with their team/family, they can't help but wonder off to find a spare piece of paper and a pen and leave a doodle here and there. One day, however, they find those doodles hanging by magnets on the human's fridge.
Giant finds out the tiny child loves plushies. Cue the pile of giant plushies for the child to giggle at and climb over and sleep upon. CUTE! 😭
Used to being ignored over having nightmares, the tiny child decided not to bother the giant when they awake from one. They turn back over to go to sleep, only to soon feel the slight weight of a hand lay over their form comfortingly. :(((
A general one of a tiny child showcasing their talent/skill to a giant who is MOST encouraging 😭
An older tiny/human child who is used to being The Parent in their family (of which already has actual parents) finds themselves completely overwhelmed and comforted when they meet a giant who treats them as the child they actually are once again, finally feeling unburdened.
And, a favorite of mine, giant parental/sibling figure trying to get through to the tiny, angsty teen who bottles up emotions and rolls their eyes like it's their job. 🙂↕️
