It was no mystery on how Fern got to things.. or places. But outside the ministry was another thing. He saw that the entrance had been cracked open and wandered outside.
Somehow he had stumbled upon a fellow ministry.. or church. It seemed like the doors were open for him to just wander in..
Bartholomew was cleaning things when he heard the front entrance doors creak open and there he saw.. a ghoul..?

Bartholomew had been cleaning up the Commons, some people littering.... It irritated him to no end, especially since it was the house of God.
He heards footsteps up the steps and into the church. He sees the ghoul and gasped. He wasn't against ghouls, he had 2. He just didn't expect some to just walk in like that.
"Hello...? Are you lost? " He questioned, putting the broom away and crossing his arms.
Eugh. Your church stinks. Do you even have enough money for proper ventilation?!
I think you have coke stuck in your nose.

It was late in the night inside of the church, everyone was still awake doing their own things. Bartholomew was in bed reading, and the nuns were doing nun things.. as they should.
When suddenly Bartholomew heard a scream from a few of the nuns. To his surprise when he ran in the room they were centered in, there was a small figure sitting near the altar.. it looked like a demon?? A ghoul? Bartholomew wasn’t sure to what it could be..
Suddenly a nun quickly handed Bartholomew his bible and some holy water.. clearly wanting whatever it was out of their holy church.

Bartholomew ran to the screaming to find a ghoul.... The being didn't look like it was hurting anyone though, just standing there. He was confused on why it didn't attack when it could've.
Bartholomew wasn't prepared to be handed the Bible and Holy water, he immediately turned it down. That, he knew, was too impulse.
He stepped towards the ghoul, "What're you doing here, huh?" He said calmly, in a gentle tone.
Bartholomew was curious about Azazels past. But when he was asking too much, Azazel hushed him immediately. So Bartholomew decided to find more about Azazel through books. He headed to the library and he spent hours there, just to read about Azazel.
But in the books, Azazel was described as a lustful, sinful demon. Whos manipulating others, whispering sins into their ears. Moving wars and storms, making chaos in any way possible and seduce people. It wasnt like the real Azazel at all. At least not the Azazel Bartholomew knew.
But as he heard footsteps towards himself, he immediately closed that book.

Bartholomew was tired of getting shushed, so he took matters into his own hands.
He looked through the books that he knew would probably have a background on Azazel. To his surprise, they did. "Hmmmm...." He said, confused.
He immediately shoved the book back on the shelf when he heard footsteps.
A few weeks have gone by in the church, everything seemed to be in order.
Plasma and Azazel were helping Bartholomew with things.. Plasma helped with lighting candles and such.
But recently in time, Plasma disappeared from the church a lot. Seeming to say he needs fresh air but yet be gone for more than 10 mins. Bartholomew never dared to question it cause he thought he could trust the ghoul..
When in reality, that ghoul was starting his habit again. To smoke. And hiding it.
One night, Plasma was missing after lighting candles for mass. Bartholomew decided to go outside to look for him.
Little did he know. Bartholomew was smoking.. again.
Bartholomew had been looking for Plasma. He had been gone for over 10 minutes which made Bartholomew even more concerned.
He sighed when he saw Plasma smoking, "Plasma... We talked about this. You can't keep this up, you know that.." Bartholomew said, taking his cigarette out of his hand and burned it out.
He walked Plasma in the church and into his room.
