I was tagged forever and a half ago by @hithelleth (legit, it was 6 months ago) to post 6 things about myself and tag some people.

1. I didn’t really get active in fandom until I was close to 30 (thank you Doctor Who!).  However, I only realized it a few years in, that I totally used to read and even wrote embarrasing self-insert Hanson fanfiction. Like....I turned in one story for my Creative Writing class in high school and I can’t decide if I’d prefer my teacher have not realized what it was OR I hope he did and laughed himself half to death at me.  (I had that teacher twice and he definitely would have laughed at me over it, if he knew what it was.)

2. Pink was my favorite color for most of my life, then I went through a phase of thinking it was lame and childish, then I got older and decided I loved it again and it hasn’t stopped being my favorite color.

3. I will lose at trivia games and most other games to my husband every time we play (though we make a fantastic team against other people), but EVERY SINGLE TIME we play the board game Life, I kick his ass.  Just absolutely destroy him.  

4. I am obsessed with color coding everything.  On our family calendar there is a separate color assigned to each person, one for the kids as a group, one for the parents as a pair, and then one for the family as a whole.  I use those on our meal planning calendar as well so everyone knows what meal they are cooking.

5. I have more than a sweet tooth.  I want to eat chocolate about 22 of 24 hours.  Quarantine has made me want snacks even more often.  Right now I have 4 different packages of M&Ms in my house, then another package of Godiva chocolates, not to mention the other treats on the high shelves of my pantry.

6. I have a pathological need to complete things.  Books, tv shows, movies, fics, etc.  Even when I’m not enjoying something, I will keep going just to get to the end, just in the miniscule hope it will get better and payoff.  That rarely happens and I just end up pissed.  I need to be better at quitting things.

aaaaa thank you for telling me!!! i’d have to thank some of my friends (particularly @kawaiijohn) who helped encourage me to expand on her and think of new and interesting things about her. i’m glad i was able to inspire you to make your own!!!

What fandom do you like but have never interacted with?

mothpaw and maive?

oookay! 

mothpaw is a decent hunter but a terrible fighter. part of her choice to become a med cat was that she really preferred the idea of not having to fight people, and serving her clan in a different way

her dad died before she was born, and her mother and littermates died shortly before her birth… did i say why? i think i decided it was greencough. it doesn’t really matter. anyways she considers her adopted mother brighthawk and her adopted siblings poppypaw and meadowpaw her family, since they’re all she’s known

things not explicitly stated in her history because she wasn’t aware of it: sweetbriar set up the attack that killed foxtail. what mothpaw interpreted as brambles catching a fox in her dream were briars. 

her original warrior name (and maybe the one in her canon, but not on denny?? not decided) was going to be mothlight. 

she is destined to receive an Important Prophecy that’ll effect all four clans. the prophecy refers to hawkclaw (riverclan), emberheart (windclan), thistlefang (shadowclan), aaaand probably dawnstar (thunderclan)

okay this is turning into “facts about mothpaw’s world and not mothpaw” but fuck you. mothpaw’s world is lowkey an AU of the original warriors verse where the clans never have to move. it’s been long enough that everyone’s forgotten firestar’s time, but there’s a few old family relations. flamestar is distantly descended from firestar, hawkclaw is distantly descended from tigerstar, thistlefang is distantly descended from tawnypelt. mothpaw might be distantly descended from ferncloud 

mothpaw is the sole recipient of starclan warnings for thunderclan, despite sweetbriar still being alive. sweetbriar is pretty strongly allied with the dark forest. so. no starclan messages for her. 

mothpaw originally suggested dawnstripe as replacement deputy for foxtail, because she thought dawnstripe was good-hearted and kind. sweetbriar agreed because she thought dawnstripe would be weak-willed and easy to manipulate. she was very pleased when she became leader so soon. (sweetbriar was wrong)

i don’t think she’s fully aroace, but she’s definitely not too interested in romance. maybe demi-something? she might have a brief crush or two on someone, but she’d always be able to clamp it down. in her world there are a lot more “well if we don’t call ourselves mates and we don’t have kits, it’s not breaking the code, is it?” kinda relationships, especially if it’s in the same clan

foxtail is her primary starclan spirit guide w/e, who i should probably bring onto denny as an npc. he was a friendly encourage dad-deputy type and she looked up to him a decent amount. 

here’s one more about maive just for kicks 

she’d probably love video games if she could figure out a way to play them. she’d be that asshole in team games on voice chat.

Rita let out a sigh of defeat and took up a seat across the table from Barty and some of the other Slytherins. "Rodulpha Septillia said pumpkin juice and coffee mixed together cured hangovers. I suppose if anyone will prove it wrong, it's you lot."
