"He's got a strange affinity to the Lead Trainer and Handler here at the Center Levi Ackerman. He won't let anyone else near, our Intern Arlert talks to him sometimes via ASL. But he still doesn't enjoy human contact. Perhaps its some type of imprinting? Much is unknown."

"Eren has a problem with stealing shiny objects. Wt one point his favorite objects to steal were Levi's shiny keys. And upon realizing how they worked, he more specifically stole his office key. Levi handled the interaction better than he would with anyone else, but the trainer holds a soft spot for our big knuckle-headed trouble maker. And when they developed their relationship Levi gifted Eren a key identical to his office key, so he can come and go as he pleases. Eren is so attached to the key that he wears it everyday and doesn't let us remove it during checkups or inspections. He's quite territorial."

"We found him in the shallows of a well-known poaching area. Fins both severed and nearly severed. Result of fin poaching. Pre-obtained scarring of un-known origin. We assume the poachers heard our boats and panicked, leaving him. He is now the first Merman to be brought into captivity, he's learning fast while recovering and trusts few staff members. We are teaching him ASL as a form of communication, he's taken a huge liking to our Chief Trainer and Handler, no one else can or will physically get close to him for fear of his teeth and defensive demeanor. Much is still unknown."

I don't think Matt and Trey are intentionally making scenes for kyman- they're making it for the dynamic overall. There's a difference between baiting a ship and actually being for that ship, and Matt and Trey are the former. That's not a take against kyman, it's just how it is. As long as Cartman and Kyle have an interesting rivalry/relationship I'm down

I mean…to me, it kind of seems likes they’re teasing the ship?? just because there are so many shippy elements to their relationship that don’t necessarily need to be present to create a dynamic, you know?

Like in the new episode, that whole “Kyle has to save Cartman and Butters from their own stupidity” is a great dynamic, but they didn’t need to show them holding hands or Kyle willing to spend pretty much all his savings on Cartman. That just seems….like matt and trey are not only trying to show us a dynamic, but also a deep bond/connection between the two that isn’t only used for comedic purposes.

There are other examples from previous episodes I could use too. I mean, this all pretty much skyrocketed with “Smut Alert!” that was definitely more about the dynamic aspect. But let’s say an episode like “Cartman Finds Love,” where Cartman has literally NO OTHER REASON to create the rumour that he and Kyle are dating. He could have just told Nichole that Kyle was gay, so she’d lose interest. Or say that he was dating Stan. But no, he specifically inserted himself into the situation. That seems more of a shippy thing than just a dynamic thing to me.

But that’s just my opinion! And you’re definitely welcome to have yours :)
