Her name is Erling Odinsdottir! She’s my marvel oc, and Thor and Loki’s little sister. She’s the god of starlight and has some funky light magic.

She’s pretty quiet and can be a little blunt and cold but she’s a big softie underneath.

Unlike her siblings, Erling wasn’t born of natural processes, but rather was sculpted from a newborn star by Odin’s hands. Which is why she has wings and pointy ears. She is a more powerful successor of the Valkyrie, and was created after they were all killed off by Hela.

In this universe (Earth - 111116) she’s also a mythological figure like her siblings. In Norse mythology, shooting stars were believed to be Erling flying over the nine realms to protect them. She was a symbol of protection and good luck.

Her magic allows her to create solid forms out of light. Though she mainly uses it for weapons, she can make anything.

She used to be closer with Loki before Thor went through his character arc in Thor 1. Since Thor was so loud and commanding, Loki’s quieter demeanour drew her in. But after Loki’s 200 betrayals during the MCU timeline she became closer with Thor. Her biggest wish is to have a normal and loving family. But she can’t because she’s a child of Odin LMAO.

She is 727 years old (just a baby to fellow Agardians).

oo Hiii I love your art and oc so so much. I have some questions about her if thats okay!! What's her favorite thing about being on earth? Is there anything that she sees there that makes her think of and miss asgard? You said she was about 15 in human years, so does her and peter get along at all since theyre similar in age? How did she handle all of lokis betrayals? Did she ever become numb to his shenanigans are does it still effect her?

I’m gonna absolutely mansplain here so apologies.

1. Her favourite thing about earth is probably the avengers themselves. But she also loves the freedom. Odin’s pretty harsh with her training, so on earth she loves the opportunity to just relax and be a normal lazy teenager. She likes learning about humans and their lives and everything they’ve made like art and music and movies (Tony leads the charge in her education). Loves to people watch too.

2. I would say gold definitely reminds her of home a lot. Especially things like golden cutlery or like golden furniture, the luxurious old wealthy things you know. Ornate rugs and tapestries too? Even Norse mythology even though it’s not quite accurate to the gods themselves in MCU. And possibly seeing happy families too, even though hers is so chaotic, she still loves her brothers dearly.

3. Her and Peter never really get the chance to interact. She lives in the compound from just before civil war to the start of Ragnarok (a year or so). So she would’ve met him during civil war briefly, as she was on Tony’s side. The main interactions they would’ve had would be on Titan during infinity war. She can be a little mean sometimes so she probably thinks he’s annoying and dumb (truly the mark of an angst teen).

4. As a kid she found Loki’s rebellion entertaining. He snuck her out of training and they both probably picked on Thor a little. So his first betrayal in Thor 1 definitely hurt. In avengers 1 her main motivation is to try to get Loki back so he faces lesser consequences and will be able to still be with the family. So she still cares about him and is a little blind to the true extent of his damage because she wants family stability so badly. Thor 2 she definitely grieved him like Thor did. Somewhere off screen after dark world she found out Loki was pretending to be Odin. She was pissed he put them through that grief, but he very easily bribed her silence by letting her live on Earth.

5. She’s much more forgiving than Thor and a little too hopeful by thinking he’ll one day stop and just be a loving brother, which is why she’s probably not as hurt as Thor is. Especially since Thor was the main family member Loki betrayed. I don’t really want to take away from that storyline as I think it’s one of the best in the MCU.

1. How did you get the idea for this story? Haha, this whole thing took off over a bug in my game at the time that magically brought Jackie's sim back to life when it shouldn't have. Naturally my sim, Cole, was very confused alongside me. Thus, headcannon took over from there!

7. Can you give me some random facts about Cole? - His favorite sweet treat is pistachio gelato with nuts and caramel syrup. - He has a cowplant named Frank whom he loves very much. - He's heavily 420 friendly. - Creating new plasma foods is a passion for him, right alongside gardening and fishing. ((You should see his greenhouse!)) - Last but not least, he's an Alpha/Dom whose never bonded before.
