How did you come up with Erling's name? 👀

It’s an honour having my oc lore stalked <3333

Erling means descendant of a nobleman/heir of a clan chief and has Norse and Germanic origins. Very simply, I chose it since she’s daughter of the all father.

As you may know it is actually a masculine name. Which is on purpose! Odin wanted a son since his last daughter grew to be resentful and eventually very destructive, especially considering she was made to be second to the future king, like Hela was to him. Unfortunately he got a second daughter much to his dismay.

so peter not only goes 5 years without him, but as soon as he gets tony back, he's gone again. for good this time.

Peter is so happy to see Tony in the battle. he's back. Peter doesnt even know how long he's been waiting for this. He practically tackles he man in a hug, finally getting the comfort he's been wanting for 5 years. He missed him so damn much. Peter had been alone for so long, Tony blipped, May blipped, he had no one.

And then it happens. Theyre fighting Thanos and Peter sees Tony with the gauntlet and he knows what's about to happen. He saw Bruce snap, if it hurt him as much as it did Tony doesnt have a chance. And Tony snaps. And Peter''s by his side in an instant.

He already watched this once, watched Tony die once. And somehow this is worse. Maybe because it's slower, maybe because Peter knows it hurts, knows it's permanent. And Peter can't do anything. All he can do it watch Tony's breathing get shallow, his grip on Peter's hand weaken.

Rhodey has to pretty much pull Peter away once his breathing stops. Peter's not sure when he would've finally gotten up if he didn't, he doesnt know if he's thankful or not. Probably not. Rhodey took him away from his mentor, his dad even if he never got to say the word.

But in the end, you couldn’t save him from yourself.

and a reality show of tony stark's little family crew doing everything besides their jobs because i know tony THRIVES in the spotlight. i want keeping up with the starks. real housewives of stark penthouse.

tony stark had always wrestled with the idea of being too much like his father. he’d never wanted to copy him, even in the early days of taking over the company. no, his plans were to go bigger, bolder, honour his old man’s legacy while hiding from it.

when he looked in the mirror he saw his mom’s wide eyes and his dad’s frown lines. when he got angry, he heard howard’s words out of his mouth. and he hated that. he was going to be better.

peter had become, in a way, a training ground for parenting. not on purpose. but tony seeing this kid, all the brightness in his eyes, his spark and his drive and his unyielding empathy— he promised himself he would never be like howard had been to him. he’d never dull that spark.

tony would be generous, he would share his lab, his technology, his expertise. he would hide all of the parts of himself that were too sharp, all of the big bold stark-isms from his father that he’d been told needed to be the loudest. when he yelled at peter, it was only ever out of fear, but he still felt vitriol over the way he raised his voice. he’s just like his dad, he’s just like his dad.

tony stark had tried everything to run away from that fate. but in the end, he’s sitting with his last breaths shaking his whole feeble frame. his eyes drift to the teenager, not all that tall, so young, that bright spark gone from his eyes.

he was about to leave that kid behind forever, and he could only vaguely think, fuck. i’m just like my dad.
