Favorite thing about them: his personality ! above all he is just really entertaining to watch.it’s very interesting to see his mind work, how he toys with the majority of the cast and bends them to his will with words alone. what really brings life to his perfomance is nakamura, he is one of my favorite VA and the way he voices both Hazama and Terumi really do it for me 👌 he immediatly caught my attention in CSE for having a really unique playstyle but i had a lot of trouble learning him lmao finally got him down in CPE/CF 👏

Least favorite thing about them:i didn’t really like his route in CF, he was just kinda…there lol i get that it was a closing arc for terumi thus the focus was more on him but c’mon my man has been carrying the villains for 2 whole games, where is his conclusion?

Favorite line: “Kinda turned on right now, ain’t ya colonel?”brOTP: Hazama/Terumi, they are probably the only characters that are able to understand each other. Terumi is a complete asswipe towards anyone yet is able to act semi-decent to Hazama who, in turn, gets away with being cheekyOTP: Hazama/Relius, this used to be my OTP in the whole franchise before Kagura/Hibiki dethroned them 🙏 rip, still love them together tho ! there are only a select few characters that are able to throw that smirk off his face and one of them is relius clover. its rare to see hazama act like a decent human being without his mr.nice guy‘front’. both Hazama and Relius are extremely intelligent thus they keep up with each other, it’s almost playful banter at some points hh i love this dynamic between them, specifically when they have tea time in remix heart chapter 18.5 ☕nOTP: Hazama(Terumi)/Ragna .. i get why it’s popular, its the popular protag/antag trope, but i don’t see any of them having a single peck of interest for each other romantically at all. absolutely null. first off: Ragna hates this guy and no, hate-fucking doesn’t apply here you sicko’s - this man didn’t break his art project or spread a nasty rumor; he burned down his house, killed his mother-figure, mentally screwed up his brother and kidnapped his sister whom he cloned and turned into murderous androids that he has to fight against. i’m sorry but there’s a line for love/hate relationships and they crossed it with a rocket launcher

secondly: i think Hazama has no desire to get together/sleep with someone that he sees as the equivalent of dirt underneath his shoe hh don’t @ me

Random headcanon: this is tough- hmm- this is gonna be a bit biased to the Relius/Hazama ship but i’d like to think he values Relius’ approval and thrives for his efforts to be aknowledged by him - he is one of his creations after all. he seeks value from those around him, to aknowledge his existence, from both relius and terumi because he has no value, nor character, without them. i started liking this headcanon in CSE Relius’ story mode after Hazama proudly shows him Mu-12 hh even asking him twice for his opinion 

Unpopular opinion: Hazama, stand-alone from Terumi, is just as bad as Terumi; if not worse. I’ve seen some people try to give him a ‘redemption arc’ after the separation from Terumi, most of them arguing that he ‘corrupted’ him and he is innocent like Kazuma.. bruh, people who think Kazuma is innocent have never read the Phase Shift novels 🐸🍵

Favorite thing about them:nakamura yuuichi’s voice acting perfomance ! he really brings life to terumi (and hazama) with his unhinged yells and screeches. he makes terumi sound terrifying yet also a meme and that’s something he should be proud of hhh

Least favorite thing about them:his edgelord fanboys that mash 6C

Favorite line: all of his OD Jabaku Fuenjin voice lines vs the majority of the cast - honestly nakamura’s perfomance there just.. 😩👌brOTP: see HazamaOTP:Terumi (Kazuma)/Trinity during Phase Shift - they have such an unique dynamic going on during the Phase Shift novels. Trinity is a kind-hearted individual who tries to see good in anyone. i think she saw Kazuma’s already insecurity and weak mentality as something she could .. fix/help? by treating him kindly, being unaware of the corruption in his mind (seriously, he was a jerk in Phase Shift yet Trinity kept treating him kindly, mostly unaware of the things he had done already). while she has grown to hate Terumi (good), in CPE she was unable to dissasociate Hazama from Kazuma and we all know what happend afterwards (then CF happend and she helped Terumi get game-ended lmaooo good riddance).nOTP: see Hazama

Random headcanon: hmmmmmmmmmmmm he totally picked up playing the guitar during the time he was still merged with hazama and had to wait (probably for months) till his plan could go into action. he is complete shit. he knows he is complete shit. but hey, it kills the time and the ears of anyone passing by his door

Unpopular opinion: i actually don’t like any of his english dubs (same goes for hazama tbh). i’ve been praising nakamura a bunch already here hh but i honestly don’t think any of his eng VA kept up to his standards (like ragna’s and noel’s did). nakamura been yelling at the top of his lungs since day 1 meanwhile i can barely hear doug over the sound effects in CPE.. just lacked all the character nakamura brought to him

Favorite thing about them: as i mentioned in Nu’s ask, i really adore the android/mecha musume motive that’s notable in the murakumo line!

other than that, i love her ‘road of self-discovery’ she undergoes during CPE’s plotlines. specifically Noel offering her help, this shows great character development for both Noel and Lambda which i really enjoyed (and sadly for Noel, got completely removed in CF but that’s a rant for another day).

Least favorite thing about them:ill be honest, there was a time where i really disliked lambda but i’ve come to like her due time, she really grew on me! why i disliked her at first was because A: she replaced Nu in CSE (my bias is showing) and B: it really seemed like it was Mori’s attempt to damage control Nu and make her another ‘waifu’ in the series. don’t get me wrong, i like lambda for who she is but sometimes she really feel like a watered-down version of Nu that’s intentionally made likeable.......... what comes with it are the fans that claim Nu is trash and Lambda is better because she is cute and oof

Hakumen for the character thing

Favorite thing about them:his design! its one of blazblue’s most powerful designs, incredibly original and authentic as well. ive even heard this from people who hate blazblue hh

Least favorite thing about them: his unreasonable attitude! he doesn’t listen to anyone, just does whatever he wants and believes in - it’s admirable in some ways but in general just really egoistic. it was used as a plot roadblock way too many times…

Favorite line:“What is it that you see at the edge of your blade? Your own justice…? Or someone else’s directive. Take one more good look.”brOTP: Hakumen /w Jubei; you can’t tell me they didn’t develop a sense of comradery during the Dark War! honestly him with anyone in the Six Heroes (minus Kazuma/Terumi) would work just as well but i’d like to think him and Jubei have the potentional to become venting buddies !OTP: Hakumen/Accepting Tsubaki’s dead wasn’t his faultnOTP: I don’t know, people don’t really ship him much?

Random headcanon: i think Hakumen really valued the Six Heroes (except for Kazuma/Terumi). yes, he comes off as cold and uncaring but i think that side of him was born from losing Tsubaki in his timeline. working together with the Six Heroes was kind of .. mandatory for defeating the Black Beast but i think he valued fighting alongside allies he could trust and rely on again, working together for a 100 years or so only strengthened this bond

however, after they all fell apart and/or died and he got banned into the boundary, he has grown more cynical and cold towards the idea of working together as the result of losing/failing to protect his comrades again - sparing himself for the same fate he has come to see as the inevitable

Unpopular opinion: hakumen ain’t a thot slayer, he is the thot defender 😤😤

thanks for asking! i hate this match-up with Nu because every Hakumen i face seems to know how to perfect all my D projectiles into his blade - otherwise, a great character with a strong pressence during all of the bb main titles
