I wish Rise got the love Heartstopper is (deservedly!) getting now. Maybe it would still be here or, at least, NBC would have given it a chance.

I wish Siremy got to tell the amazing love story they deserved. And Masha too. I wish we had the chance to see those scenes, them being young and discovering themselves, I wish we got to see Simon coming out to his mum and friends and then being happy with Jeremy; maybe also Jeremy's coming out too, if he wasn't out already!

I wish, I wish, I wish.

i just rewatched s1x10 of Rise and had a lot of thoughts so here we go

i started crying during the intro

micheal and sasha taking a selfie is so cute

everybody raising their hands to go back to the original makes me so happy and proud

The title is inspired by a line from the song, "How Did You Love" by Shinedown. Anyone who knows me from my Star Wars stories knows that I love these guys a lot!

This is my first time ever writing for this fandom, not just the first thing I've posted. As such, my tagging and some character interpretations may sound odd, so let me know if something needs to be removed, added, or edited! I also just got tired of angrily staring at my attempts of rewriting the two scenes I used from the show, so I'm going with what I've got.

This is dedicated to my mutual in this fandom. She has been amazing to me ever since I first reached out when I joined the fandom. She's someone who I have been able to talk about ideas with, character interpretations, how the series deserved better, etc. As such, I feel it is only appropriate that she is gifted the first bit of writing I've done for this fandom. @sheireen, I really hope this lives up to your standards and that you enjoy! Also @sleepyandbi! Remember ages ago when I told you I would eventually write a Siremy fic and would tag you? Here you go!
