Hey so i just read your ff 'lighthouse' and i feel so grateful that you wrote such a beautiful piece. I don't know how I'm supposed to convey it in words on how I'm feeling after completing it. I'm overwhelmed, happy and confused at the same time. Many questions forming in my mind which I want to be answered but still left unanswered at the same time. Just call me dumb but do you mind explaining about what exactly happened to jungkook like obviously he is dead but how,why?

hi there! no you are NOT dumb take it back 😡

frankly, i didn't delve into how or why jungkook died because i didn't think it served the main theme of the story. by the end of it, i wanted the focus not to be necessarily his death but the reason why he could finally find peace within himself. he died at a relatively young age, around 24, due to a medical ailment diagnosed at birth which is why he said his days were numbered. but also, i didn't explain it because i wanted the reader to feel as in the dark as the oc did, it made it a little more realistic that you don't know and are left wondering what happened.

but if you all are interested in what happened to jungkook i would love to write up a drabble about that! i've been thinking of writing a little story about jungkook's past along with what the oc did after finding the note, AND maybe even a drabble about the oc trying to figure out what happened to him! :)) let me know if that's something y'all would enjoy! and thank you SO SO much for this <333 love u anonie
