I'm guessing that Zephyr tale Gaster isn't Ink's adoptive dad in this au lol? Because he is a Dragon expert breeder, and Ink is pretty clueless about them.

Ink & most of the rest are pretty clueless because they moved into new lands without knowing the plague of dragons it had early on. Cross keeps a journal of the things he's discovered so far, as does Nightmare- but only Cross makes his findings accessible to everyone. However, even Cross hasn't discovered everything, and dragons remain largely a mystery.
