8. Common fandom opinion everyone is wrong about

The oversimplifications of all the New Mutants. Particularly Dani as a #girlboss - I'd argue that vibe isn't even a major facet of her character, let alone her entire character - and Illyana as a chaos gremlin, although that has faded away a bit since her solo thankfully. But in general, in broader X-fan circles, I find the New Mutants really get boiled down to singular character traits when they're all remarkably complex characters, and have been since day one.

24. Topic that brings up the most rancid discourse

Bit of a more niche one, there would be topics that get worse discourse, but one I've never seen discussed on this front is The Demon Bear Saga. I've seen some great discussion about it, but sometimes there is discourse about what is and isn't racist, what counts as 'it's okay, it was the 80s' and what doesn't, that is just aggressively rancid. It becomes a bit more about whether someone is progressive enough with their media taste than actual discussion of the deep-rooted flaws, but also things worth congratulating, of New Mutants.

🛒 What are some common things you incorporate in your fics? Themes, feels, scenes, imagery, etc.

I do scenes set in a shower/bath tub weirdly often, I think including wips I have like 6 of them. in fruits of my labor alone theres been 2/3. soulmateism/the power of fate also shows up a lot in my fics that I had to hold myself back in fruits of my labor. which is why in the first few chapters theres the highly unclear reason why Carlos could scent Jannik before being bonded.

maybe this is also because of my divorce fic but I also love a breakup scene (hint hint perhaps HAHAHAHHA) especially when they have to part ways and the love is still there but theyre too angry/awkward to kiss properly

🎶 Do you listen to music while you write? What song have you been playing on loop lately?

I do sometimesss, I have a sincaraz playlist but it's not very jpreg focused since it's very situationshipy. Specifically for abrc ive really like "I still love you" by the overtunes for a Carlos pov, while "my man on willpower" by Sabrina Carpenter is very Jannik in Cincinnati before he realized he was sick but after Carlos sent him away

though on actual loop ive been loving "one of the greats" and "the old religion" by Florence and the machine

41- This is really hard but I'd probably have to say the area where the training trio trains because the wisterias are really pretty

48- Kokichi because of how well he acts. He wouldn't be obnoxious in the way where he belts out theater songs but he would just be a little shit like in game. Idk about the starkid thing I haven't watched that many starkid musicals

OHHH so hard because I really like dialogue so my favorite lines are usually an exchange but this is probably the one line:
