Speaking of Cormac McCarthy I am unrecommending The Road. Everything from the writing style to the characters with no personality or psychological depth to the pointless misery irritated me to no end.

51. What’s a non verbal way they say I love you?
Coming in with a hardball right out of the gate! The first question I have to posit is: do they love each other? I know this threatens to turn eyeroll-worthy, all the waxing and metaphors and dodging of sentimentality, but in truth I never find it unworth saying, as I enjoy the maze whether or not it is solved. Is a need the same as love? Is desire love, and is compulsion, all the moreso when it is so balanced by the lack of it, by the repulsion toward it? Does a broken arm love the morphine that quiets the feeling? Does the self love not only their mirrored face or their conscious thoughts, not only the abstract notion of experience as it lends itself to broader gratitude, but all of the details that drive the living body: do they love the road they lost control on once, the scratch in their throat when they've caught a bug on a crowded train, the muscle memory that presses their front door shut with the heel of their left foot because they lead with their right? I don't know. I think one could argue love looks like many things; I think one could argue also love, if it does define itself with every breath of a life, cannot be so simple and singular of a thing as we know it.
But I also know that's being pedantic, haha. (Again, I hope it's understood that I like thinking of them that way, I like taking roundabout walks.) How do they express themselves nonverbally, how do they show emotion rather than say it, that's the question. I'd imagine it's in the constant presence, the line from knee to hip touching on a sofa or bed, the sharing of skin and substance, the feeling of unfettered access to one another that is given and taken, whether or not it is always wanted. There's never a question of decorum or tact between them. Never a question of when or where one has a right to the other's attention, or when it is fair to interrupt, intercept, overtake or invite overtaking. When Stuart's head is sour and ungrateful with stormclouds, this seems like Murdoc's parasitism, but when his head is cottony and sun-dabbled he and Murdoc are extended limbs of the other, and the self is owed both all and nothing; he has no obligation to Murdoc, and Murdoc has no sovereignty from him. It sounds strange, but it's the tolerance, the silent recognition, the lack of fighting it-- when they do reach that place of lack, mind you-- that is the expression. It's the closest they'd get to "I love you," I think: I have you, and I am you.
54. Who’s more likely to carry the other to bed?
If they're inebriated and one's dragging the other arm-over-shoulder, it can go either way; Murdoc has higher tolerance than Stu and Stu's more likely to go leaden in his limbs with medication, but by that same turn Murdoc's even less equipped to carry Stu's dead weight, his frame lanky but standing a foot taller than Murdoc, who was scrawny since childhood and better aided by scrappiness than strength. I can't see either one carrying each other "bridal style" after dozing off-- not only for the overwhelming sweetness of it, haha, but I genuinely just don't think either is capable of it. These are not fit fellows. I do tend to view Stu a bit more long-and-lean than canon artwork usually depicts (still thinner and weaker than any athlete but more realistic in proportion, less Betty Spaghetti) so I think a world exists where he can drag Murdoc around easier than the reversal, but I don't think it's a graceful or tender image; it's more like long arms wrapped around Murdoc's chest, back-meeting-front, the very bottoms of his heels dusting the ground between Stu's flat feet as he hauls his body in slow grunting steps. They have certainly supported the other's weight many nights though, coming in from bars or afterparties, dumping the other onto the mattress with a great groaning shove and flopping down into the space beside him.

Run, Blood, and DNA for the ask game!
// @cryptid-s-wips
Run; what's an experience your oc has mixed feelings about?
Castien has a lot of mixed feeling about putting up with Isaiah (the main villain) when he can JUST KILL HIM. He can't, though bc he doesn't want his siblings caught up in the carnage. So he just deals with Isaiah constantly being like
"have you heard of your lord and savior ME :)" and then they fight
Blood; what would castien sacrifice everything before
first of all castien does NOT care if he lives or dies he just wants to protect his little siblings and bf
he's already sacrificed his free will to the gods so he doesn't really have much to lose.
[he does grow out of this kind of thinking after several near death experiences]
does castien believe in fate?
yeah. he's a Chosen of the goddess of nature. he's only here to pick fights and fuck around and find out. whatever happens is supposed to happen to him.
