hel, what would you do if someone hurt your half-siblings and ended up in your realm after being killed by your mum and stepmum? would you treat them differently from the other dead souls?

♔—- “To admit to any deviation in how I run my realm based on personal bias or vendetta would be highly unethical and unprofessional. I may not care much for the basis of ethics as a whole, but I do take my position as Queen of Helheim and Ruler of the Damned very seriously,” Hel insisted in her usual monotone.
“That said, Helheim is broken up into many different sections, each for various degrees of the dead who dwell here. Some places are rather nice while others consist of unending agony that stretches out for the rest of eternity. Those who would harm my family would certainly earn a one-way ticket to the worst my realm has to offer and, perhaps, a personal escort from me.”
Hel might not have known how to interact with children, but she was very protective of them due to the traumas that she and her brothers faced as children. Hel didn’t know how to be with her younger siblings and not frighten them, but she did love them. She also loved her step-mother with a fierceness that was unexpected though, again, it would be hard to tell just by looking at her. She showed basically no emotion consistently.
And, of course, Hel loved her mother. Their relationship would probably always have underlying tension, but Hel loved Loki with a strong intensity that would never truly fade away. She yearned to protect him despite his past failures in protecting her.
