i had to slide in your inbox right quick, and i truly mean no disrespect or to speak for you, but i feel like i need to plead with my fellow tbnd readers/lovers, because the amount of folks out here still wanting roman to be with ivy is slightly concerning.
friends. my brothers, sisters, theys, gays, and more in christ, this is not a love story. never was. there is no coming back from the things roman has done and will do (in my mind, at least). this is a thriller and has been identified as such from the beginning. i know we joke about how we would let roman do whatever he wants/will always support him and whatnot, but this story ain't it. it's a psychological thriller. a really really good one! please stop trying to make it this epic, beautiful romance when it's not, and the authors made that clear from the very beginning.
as already pointed out by the author(s): roman killed ivy's best friend, he killed the father of her child, he abused (and could still kill) her dog, he practically dismembered gemini's body in front of ivy, taunted ivy about how he brutally killed said best friend, and he violently raped her. none of this is okay in any universe, even fictional, and it makes zero logical sense for ivy to ever forgive, let alone want, to be with him.
ivy has been severely traumatized in this whole thing, and, nine times out of ten, she will never be the same following the outcome, whatever that is.
i think what has happened is a lot of you have forgotten the first half of this book was all a facade in that we saw "roman reigns" not matteo hobbs. matteo hobbs is who he really is, and that "man" is a deviant. he does not deserve ivy or any other good thing. please, please, just let the author(s) continue to tell the story as they crafted it, because again, this is some amazing shit we're getting for free! let creators create in peace, por favor.
I wish I could pin this to my page. It couldn’t be more spot on.
