There was this incident once, Petey was so buisy with the band session where he sometimes don't look at his phone for hours. One daay, he opened his phone to a bunch of dogman texts and missed calls. Ofcourse this was concerning to him, what if an emergency happened that he didn't know. The sheer Overthinking and worriness made him stress so bad

He was about to leave the studio when:

His idiot Babysitter and his idiot son was just outside the studio being handled by the guard.. In Greg's defense Lil Petey only wanted to see his papa, but he wasn't known by their staffs yet (except Lil Petey) so it caused a misunderstanding thinking he was a "self claimed babysitter that used Lil Petey as a bait" and a "kidnapper". The guards was just doing their job btw.

-80HD suggested to give Greg a PASS so in the future he wouldn't have any troubles coming in the studio.. Petey.. This cat... A fucking idiot...doesn't have the courage to give it to him yet so he kept it for days before giving it to Greg.

-Also yeah Greg is still a bit embarrassed going to the OHKAY'S STUDIO unwillingly, he'll only come with Lil Petey. Maybe he'll use it for himself someday? Who knows.

Greg watches Petey as he strum his bass, he looked nervous, Greg thinks that was cute. As the song has almost ended Petey couldn't give him eye contact due to this humiliating feeling, Greg couldn't contain it but he gave Petey a soft smile, he held his paws making Petey look at him. Greg gestured his hand "give me some time". "I'll think about it" in that very moment Petey's heart thumped faster than normal, it gave him a sense of hope and finally a sigh of relief to know he has let out what he felt for a long time. Petey cleared his throat trying to act nonchalant but failed (Hell nahhh who does this cat think he is) "I'll... wait". The puppy knows how ridiculous he looks right now but he too is about to fucking explode, he let out a small chuckle continuing the conversation and 'til this day the feeling of warmth and comfort never left their body, it never went to being normal it's just getting more interesting. Petey can't help but fall in love even more.

Exactly what you just said in the second question anon, Greg is unsure of his feelings but he knows Petey is sincere with it (he wouldn't make a song for him if not) he likes Petey but it felt wrong for him, Petey's popular and he's not, worse he's a soon to be cop where his peers made him think that liking the same gender would be considered immoral, the internalised homophobia circulating inside him messed his feelings up, Petey's song made him forget those the thoughts of feeling small disappeared. It took him a second to think, that how is this song, Petey is singing was all about him, his stomach is behaving weirdly but it wasn't unpleasant. He loved the feeling, it doesn't made him sad just unsure of what he's feeling he can't explain, this connection of him and Petey is important to him, he hasn't felt loved since Knight's existence.
