Can you please do more personality profiles? I love your blog and so I'm trying to make a list of the Offspring Houses to remember them all better. More Personality Profiles!

Oh gosh this is so nice and I didn’t even realize OCOL was still getting notes and y’all are lovely. I kind of stopped updating because life and then Pottermore and now I camp out at JKR’s feet waiting for scraps of canon, basically. THEN my head canons starting morphing a little bit and then I felt weird to be like not canon within my own canon on this blog anymore???

But if the V2 canons is something people want then I live to serve.

(btw I really REALLY love your blog. Brilliant. Puts my next gen blog to utter shame and makes me want to give up on my fanfic. You are so brilliantly detailed and well thought out and it's lovely) But anyways, I wanted to ask you who you ship James II with? I know a lot of people ship him with Alice, but she's dating Louis in my fanfic and I can't seem to bring myself to ship her with James. I was just wondering who you'd put him with. (same with Lily. I've been having trouble with her as well)

I don’t honestly do a whole lot of Next Gen shipping (besides Teddy/Victoire) just because we don’t really know any other characters besides the Potter-Weasley kids. I have some OCs that I haven’t written a whole lot about (mostly because I feel pretty self-serving when I do haha), and one of them is who I thought of James with.

(I’m not sure who Alice is? I’m assuming you mean Alice Longbottom II maybe? I know that’s one of those consistent head canons.)

hi! do you think "She's so mean" describes Ted/Vic?

Eh, maybe parts of it, but my Victoire isn't mean enough for the whole song to work. A bit abrasive, certainly, but not unkind.

Victoire does seem to be characterized that way a lot in Next Gen head canon, I have noticed. Fandom has an unfortunate tendency to tie physical beauty to bitchiness, and I'm not quite sure why that is. My suspicion is it's an attempt to avoid the mythical "Mary Sue" by giving beautiful girls personality flaws.

Does the next generation have Marauders in your headcanon?

Well, it depends on what you mean by Marauders, I suppose. If you just mean a really close friend group that tends to cause mischief, I would say that James, Fred, Louis, Lucy, and Charlotte (one of my OCs) are probably the Marauders of their generation. But I don’t associate them with any particular members of the original Marauders (even James II is vastly different from his namesake in many ways).

what about fred and Roxanne? Who would you cast as them?

I still haven't managed to find ones I really like for them.

People that appropriately represent their heritage aka not whitewashed would be the only answer I have at the moment.

If you were making a movie about the offspring, who would you cast? (I love the idea of Karen Gillan as Lily)

I'm sure this won't come as a surprise, but I'm super picky about face claims xD I haven't found too many that really match my picture of them, but here's what I have so far:

Teddy: Andrew Garfield (I know, so mainstream)Victoire: Georgia Moffett

Molly: Jane Levy (She IS my Molly, I think I found her in the Lily tag and was like NO THAT IS MOLLY). She even comes in both versions:1. Relaxed Molly

2. Frazzled fussy Molly

Annnnd that's it, ha. My problem is mostly that I find one-off hipster photos that are SO close to how I see them, but it's not real helpful with "casting". Here they are, though:

I've never been able to see Karen Gillan as either Lily, actually, but that's just personal pictures of things ^^ She's not quite rough around the edges enough for Lily Luna as I see her...doesn't have enough Ginny in her ;)
