“Okay, I know this sounds really corny, so no one call me out on it...”

“But I honestly would say losing or hurting the people I care about. I wouldn’t be able to live with myself if I hurt someone dear to me.”

“...going bald is a close second, however. I like my hair.”

Hello, Octavo. The Bard of Light would like to foretell the location of your lost locket... Or are you above listening to such fortune-tellers?

“I appreciate the offer. But after the last time, I think I’ll take a break from fortune-tellers. Best to do things the old fashioned way.”

Heya 'Tavo! You know how you got that special locket, right? Passed down from your family for many generations? Considering it looks just like the gem on Vaati's hat... Do you suppose that makes Vaati your super great great great great great greatest grandpa or something?

“Me? Related to Vaati? As if!”

“I won’t deny they look similar, but I think it’s just a coincidence. Besides,  super great great great great great greatest grandpa? If that’s the case, he looks pretty young for that.”

“Not that I’d complain if you called him that!”

“Speaking of which, I really need to find that locket. I lost it when I was taking over Hyrule and haven’t seen it since.”

So Octavo, what sort of things is Princess Zelda making you do in order to make up for your crimes on Hyrule?

“Well, she’s not exactly making me do it, per se. I volunteered to help make up for my errors. As for what I’m doing, I’ve dispelled the magic I used to make everyone in Hyrule move to music and I’ve been aiding in clearing out the monsters I unleashed in Hyrule.”

“My champions have been aiding me in the latter. Harmonia has grown attached to them, so I figured I should let them use their abilities to do some good instead of harm.”

“Though I suppose they’re technically harming the monsters, aren’t they? I should specify that they’re doing no harm to forces of good.”

“Also, Zelda is planning on holding a music festival soon, so I’m tasked in helping prepare along with Harmonia and my champions. I’ve been writing a few musical pieces for the festival and, not to toot my own oboe, I’m pretty proud of them so far!”
