Random question cause I want to get to know you better. What's your belief system like? Gods/deities/ect?
I'll answer this publicly, actually.
I was raised originally without a large religion (as far as I'm aware) but I moved around a lot when I was really small. So, when we finally settled with my Stepfather I was made Christian (Methodist) and then Specifically Catholic. I don't agree with it as my religion. To be perfectly blunt. I respect others for that, but it's not me.
But I can't say that openly right now at home, at least not to my Mother, since I had to move back home.I believe there is something like a God, but that is not up to me to believe in them, it is up to them to believe in Me. I believe there are many Gods and powerful Spirits, because many people here are Gods in some way. In many aspects I consider myself a God, (Figuratively, mostly) because when I write, I see what I have created. I see the lives there that I gave breath to and the lives I did not make thriving. It's a place, and I had shaped it just as the Christian belief is that our world was shaped by God. Were I to abandon this world for a time I truly would return to find that it has changed, and things happened while I was gone. I cannot truly touch this world, nor see it with my eyes. But I created, therefore I am God, and others have come to watch this world and be Gods too. I also believe in reincarnation, the recycling of souls for various reasons individual to the soul.
Mostly though, in this lifetime, to return to the actual question, I'd like to learn more in the Pagan aspect. I respect the Earth, and the Spirit of it, I want to practice in that way. But I do not know where to start, or how I can without being attacked by half my Family (Who disrespects almost all other religious views.) I want to learn about the other religions, because even if I do not agree with some of them or even their people, I do respect them and share space with them.
I guess I am far more spiritual than religious. But that may be because of Sanketsu in some small way, my Shadow would be here even if I were not Christian raised and by the accordance of the Christian Faith I'm probably hellbound. He is, after all, a part of who I am, the whispers in the dark, the blood I want to shed, those negative things I think/do/feel/say, which are "unchristian and will send me to hell."
