Pacifica had stayed home the last couple of days trying to figure out anything she could as to where her parents could have hidden any kind of secret. She explored every corner of every hallway of her house: she had pushed and pulled statues, paintings and drawers to see if anything was there, from a button to a secret passage to the secret passage itself. Nothing seemed to work.

There wasn't anywhere else left in the house that she knew of to explore and that was upsetting. A house as big as hers just had to have something, anything. Of course, there was always the basement and the attic, but both were locked and she didn't know where the keys were. Busting in wasn't really an option, since it was her own house -besides it meant breaking stuff and she wasn't really looking forward to being grounded.

She figured there were only two places left to get aid: The first would be Nathaniel Northwest's tomb, but it was discarded almost immediatly since dealing with dead people wasn't really her top priority right now, to say the least.

The second was... The Mystery Shack. Why, the twins were the ones who found out about this mess first, so they probably knew where she could find the answers she was looking for, whatever they were going to be.
