All Might: (out of character) I was called to be in this panel minutes before it started, while I was eating pizza. I left the pizza just for a Panel

Todoroki: (out of character) Oh I was just standing outside of the panel room, right before this started, when I saw all these people walking in. (gestures to other panelists) I didn’t see a Todoroki, so I asked them if they had a Todoroki. They were all like, no, so I just said I’ll be in it.

This Panel was full of so many funny moments that I couldn’t remember this all. Remember none of this is word for word it was from what I can remember.

Yo Alberta Convention peeps - specifically Sherlock fans.

Do you want to get in on an Ask Panel? A Sherlock Panel got approved for this coming Animethon, and we're looking for a couple of characters.

We have: Sherlock, John, Irene, Eurus, and Molly.

Looking for: Mycroft and Lestrade. 

A Mrs. Hudson would be great too, especially after her shenanigans this past season.

But mostly, If we can confirm a Lestrade and a Mycroft, that’d be fabulous. If you want to, or know of somebody who would want to, HMU off anon telling me who you would like to be, and maybe give me your email so I can hook you up with the right person.

Character Ask Panels used to be a mess

Hey there! I am currently in the process of gathering some friends and planning a Hetalia panel for a convention next year. I seen you guys have done a few and had any tips for running one?

You’re in for a wild ride….

First of all, apply for your panel AS SOON AS APPLICATIONS OPEN. Most cons don’t have enough room for everyone so you’ll really need to get on registering so you stand a chance at having it run.

Additionally,

-  Make sure you take pictures (go check out the room) as soon as you know which one it is so you can plan your setup. This also includes finding out if you have chairs, tables, a podium, a projector etc.

-  Bother your Cosplayers often: A month before, two weeks before and then two days before. The reason for that is because Cosplayers are hella flaky; Shit breaks down, cosplays or wigs are lost, people have panic attacks etc.

- Advertise at your con: talk to Hetalia Cosplayers and invite them to come….They’re more likely to show up if they know they are expected to be there.  

- Make up Rules: rules that your panelists know in advance (make a group chat to discuss them ahead of time)

BONUS: - make sure you know your panelists well enough so you can pair “hot and cold” people together;What that means is that some people will literally feed off their friends and take the attention of the panel almost exclusively. So put a person who you know is a “hot” character then put a “chill” person beside them.
