Ok, so a general explanation of Homokaitan as an AU can be found here, which I highley recommend reading first for background info. As for Ichi, Ni, and San themselves I do have some general facts.

- San is a crazy little shit. All three of them are, but San is like, batshit insane. His emotions will flip wildly from one extreme to another without warning. Ex: “WHY DON’T YOU LIKE ME I’VE DONE EVERYTHING RIGHT?!!??!!” To “HAAHAHAHA I CHOKED YOU OUT IT WAS SO FUNNY!!!!” In a matter of seconds.

-On that topic, San will also dance around the dying victims of him and his brothers, singing, imitating their cries, and laughing hysterically with can turn to hysterical crying. Essentially mocking them in their final moments.

-Ni, on the other hand, is temperamental and aggressive. He often keeps to himself and lets Ichi and San do the work for him. However, he often throws tantrums when things aren’t right or he’s been ticked off in some way. He is the dirtiest fighter out of the three of them, and loves to bite people— even his own brothers, who he gets into fights with more than often.

-Ichi prides himself as the peacemaker/voice of reason for his brothers, keeping them in line to the best of his abilities despite his own many imperfections.

-Whenever any one of them is feeling any intense emotion, the hurricane that constantly rages wherever they go will stir more and create particularly intense lightning strikes and other general weather phenomena.

-Sometimes, and only sometimes, all three of them will move in perfect synchronization, finish each other’s sentences out of the blue, all speak at the same time, and most commonly— laugh in sync. It’s weird and gross and creepy.

Some childhood headcanons for the jewels? And for the gifted child troop-

As a child, Diamond was such a teacher's pet in their classes. And they were called "a pleasure to have in class".

Sapphire was the kid that knew everyone in the class and would talk. to. everyone.

Ruby started playing the piano and violin when she was four and was soloing in concerts by the age of seven.

Amethyst was known as the person you went to if you needed anything. She knew what was going on with everyone and she would tell you. For a price.

Emerald was homeschool until the age of eleven, when his family moved to America. When he got there, he learned that his education, while sporadic and at the whims of his parents and older brothers, was much more thorough and advanced than that of his peers.

In middle school, Amber set a new school record for number of detentions as well as ISS's (in school suspensions).

Carnelian took advanced classes up through junior high but switched to regular classes in high school due to pressure from his friend group.

Hugo was, like Diamond, a pleasure to have in class, and he was always the first one a teacher would go to if they needed any help.

Quinn was that kid who the other kids always thought was up to something but they could never catch them or prove anything and who the teachers absolutely adored.

Mal had a very uneven education due to the constant moving around but they always picked up new skills easily and made new friends quickly.

Dude thank you so much for portraying Dipper as the asshole (affectionate) he is. He’s a ball of anxiety and awkward social skills but he’s also five seconds away from slamming doors on people and swinging punches. My beautiful son stands on BUSINESS

fuck yeah, man. it's one of my favorite things about dipper (as you can probably tell).

he's got anxiety. he gets panic attacks. he's paranoid and sweaty and super awkward. AND he's absolutely done with everyone's shit all the time. it's that stan pines snark coming out in him.

i just adore when characters have contrasting personality traits like this -- it fleshes them out so well and creates really interesting duality.

𖠰 once he gets back to piedmont, dipper isn't exactly rebellious, but in gravity falls, he got very used to being the master of his own schedule -- going wherever he wanted, whenever he wanted, without adults -- and it absolutely becomes normal for him to just ignore whatever rules his parents try to set about curfew or supervision.

𖠰 dipper plays a game with mabel where he sticks things to the back of her sweaters and waits to see how many things he can put there until she notices. it drives her absolutely insane and usually ends with her attacking him via stuffed animals.

𖠰 if someone tells dip no, he often just quietly does it anyway. who's gonna stop him?

𖠰 one of the reasons he enjoys playing video games with pacifica on call during the non-summer months is the outlet for friendly bickering. like puppies biting each other's ears in an enclosure.

𖠰 as he gets older, dip always carries some kind of weapon on him: switchblade, swiss army knife -- even a box cutter at one point. he never knows what adventure he's going to get embroiled in next and refuses to get caught unawares.

𖠰 he loves responding to the question "dipdop, can you do me a favor" with a simple, "no" -- usually while he's already getting up to do mabel the favor.

𖠰 beware a bored dipper pines. if he's bored, he will make it everyone's problem. best to avoid him.

𖠰 he once nearly burned the kitchen down trying to warm up food. he's put metal in the microwave. he's burned himself on the oven. the kitchen is not a safe place for him.

𖠰 he writes in various codes and ciphers on his shoes, pants, takeout containers—mabel is confiscating his pens at this very moment.

𖠰 sometimes he cuts his own hair and it looks... not awesome. but he has curls so it hides a lot of the fuck ups. mostly.
