Just saw your opposition to "Men dni" blogs Genuinely felt so loved and cared for for just a moment <3 I hate the awful feeling of thinking I would get along with someone only to see men dni and having to leave instead. <3

I'm glad that some of us can still be a safe space for people of all gender identities. The amount of men dni blogs I have come across here is frankly insane to me. Even though I'm a woman, I too hate when I like or agree with a post, go to check the blog, and see the "men dni" notice, which prompts me to turn right back around and wipes the smile right off my face.

It's also why I advocate for "will not interact" lists over "do not interact" ever since I came across that phrase as an alternative. I think it's fine for people to have their preferences and boundaries, and especially with sexuality if someone is not attracted to a particular gender or configuration, that's okay. You don't have to interact with people you don't want to interact with.

I think we need to curate our own experience, not expect others to conform or curate the experience for us. You'd think that people on tumblr would be used to doing that anyway! Block who you don't want around your space, blacklist tags and words you don't want to see, follow the people and tags you do like, and enjoy the garden you create for yourself. Everyone else should still be free to take a peek at your blog too, you just don't have to deal with those you don't want to but no need to scare them AND their friends off.
