Ever think about retiring? Maybe working on bikes or having a farm? I had a dream you got Brock and the kid out and had a nice life in the country.
It crosses my mind every once in a while, especially when my knee isn’t cooperating. But I feel like I’m way too young. I’m not even sure what I would do if I retired.

Jack! Tell us about the time you knew you wanted Brock for the first time?
It’s really hard to explain. It wasn’t like a singular moment of desire. It just kinda happened. We were sitting on the roof of the complex drinking beer and I just leaned over and kissed him.
I didn't know you were such a romantic poppa Jack! How many years have you guys been together now?
I wouldn’t call myself romantic, haha. I think that happened about two years ago? But we’ve been working together and screwing around for a long time before that. I’m not even sure if we’re “official” or anything.
Jack, do you have Middle Child Syndrome? Is that why you're always so quiet?
I didn’t know there was such a “syndrome,” but I guess? My younger brother and sister were always the babies who got away with murder, and my older brother and sister were always the perfect athletes. Then there was me in the middle, haha.
When was the first time you killed someone. How did you feel about it?
The first time I killed someone, I was on my first deployment with the Marines. I didn’t really feel anything. Did I want to kill another person? Not really. But it’s my job sometimes.

I bet you get lots of Christmas cards and birthday cards huh? I have a big family. My grandmother has 4 children, 14 grandchildren, and 8 great grandchildren. Christmas cards take over the house.
Oh, yeah. A veritable fuck ton of cards. My little nieces and nephews draw me pictures and stuff, which is sweet. I seriously buy cards on clearance once a year so I already have them ready to go when it’s time to send one for someone’s birthday.
