Litten's Light of Hope

Response to, and 1st panel from @asksavel 's Light of Hope event

Curce felt a surge of hope rising through him like a wave of adrenaline. Standing up tall in his village and staring up into the dusky sky, his eyes would catch the large yellow light emitting from the skies up above like was daytime.

His whole life had changed within the spin of a few short months of coming to this little Pokemon village. A new body, new friends, and a new environment was all too much for him to handle, as he wasn't one for change. Having managed to hold in his anxiety, he was scared at what the future would hold and what else might change. Scared that he might not even be able to get himself out of bed, because he might not know how to actually do anything here. This familiar light of hope however, helped to calm his nerves as he took a deep breath.

"Laivan, thank you. I may have only known you for a short time now, but I have really enjoyed my time with you. You truly do care for everyone around you, and the hope you have for others is immaculate. Not to mention you're a big dork with a lot of charm! Which just makes you all the more lovable and awesome to hangout with.

I hope you and Dravol are able to great friends again. I'm looking forward to talking with her too, as I want to give her a chance."

The litten smiles for a few more moments as he thought of the two, before looking down at the small village of Pokemon in front of him.

"Well, time to head back to base. Can't put off work forever, and maybe this time it won't be so bad."

Now a little more confident in himself, the fire type turns around and walks back to his house. Maybe life in this village won't be as bad as he thought, just maybe...
