Mac, Medusa, Serena, Liora, Vivienne? May I request hugs? September is full of death and mourning for me. I tend to shut down every emotion and become so numb that I barely take care of myself. Whenever you start to feel that numbness creep in, try calling someone who understands what you are going through or that cares enough to listen. Let yourself feel what you need to right now. Thank you kindly for the flowers and I’m here to chat whenever you need a friend.” [squeezes tighter]
“You can always have a hug here. But as Mac suggested, try to find something to help the numbness. I know how much it hurts to have a loved one pass away. Might I suggest diving into a book? I heard there was a book called ‘Lore’ by Alexandra Bracken that was interesting. And thank you for the flowers. Please stop by the bookstore if you need anything.”
